Paris Hilton publicly slams Mauricio Umansky after he calls out her dad, Rick Hilton, for a bad business deal in the Buying Beverly Hills preview.
Past drama between the Hiltons and Umanskys is rearing its ugly head once again, thanks to the upcoming season of Buying Beverly Hills.
In a preview for season 2 of Buying Beverly Hills, Mauricio Umansky calls out brother-in-law Rick Hilton for screwing him over in the real estate business.
Mauricio Umansky explains that his fallout with Rick Hilton stems from his not being made a partner in the latter’s real estate agency, Hyland and Hilton, which ultimately led to him leaving to open his own real estate company, The Agency.
“I think I got kind of f–ked by Hilton & Hyland,” the real estate mogul revealed in a sneak peek of BBH released on Tuesday.
“And when I say f–ked, you know, like, today I’m happy, but there was a hundred agents at Hilton & Hyland. They did a billion dollars for the first time a year. I was 19.6 percent of their production.”
According to Mauricio, he thought he deserved to be made partner due to the success he brought to his brother-in-law’s real estate company.
“I went to Rick, and I said, ‘I’d really like equity, right, and to be a partner,” he explained to several pals and colleagues.
However, Umansky was ultimately told “no” after Rick Hilton spoke with his co-founder Jeff Hyland about making Mauricio a partner.
As a result, the 53-year-old knew he had to leave Hilton & Hyland and create his own real estate company, but before doing so, he ran the idea past his now-estranged wife, Kyle Richards, because he believed it might cause drama within the family.
“‘This is really going to cause a lot of stress between you, your sister and your family, and I don’t want to do this move of leaving and starting a company if you’re not comfortable,’” Mauricio recalls telling Kyle, who is Kathy Hilton‘s youngest sister.
After Kyle gave Mauricio her seal of approval, he created The Agency, which has become one of the top real estate agencies in the world and even has its own reality show, Buying Beverly Hills.

The clip mentioned above went viral on social media on Tuesday, so naturally, members of Rick Hilton’s family caught wind of it.
Paris Hilton, who has never been shy about calling out her family members on social media, slammed her uncle Mauricio Umansky.
The 43-year-old socialite made it known that she was not happy about Mauricio discussing her family empire and family on his show.
On Instagram, Paris Hilton wrote:
“My father is a consummate gentleman and has always taken the higher road. He would never speak negatively about his family – especially in the press. Frankly, we are all sick of him using the Hilton name every chance he gets to plus his lame show. It is enough already…”
Part three of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 reunion airs March 13 at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
