In a clip from part 2 of the RHOBH season 13 reunion, Kathy Hilton spills some major tea about her sister Kyle Richards’ separation from Mauricio Umansky.

Kathy Hilton is set to make a surprise appearance during part three of the RHOBH reunion but she was already spilling tea before even hitting the reunion stage.

As Kathy spent time in the greenroom getting her makeup and hair done, Kathy revealed that Kyle Richards has been contemplating leaving Mauricio for at least three years if not longer.

“Maurice is going one way. She’s going one way. Kyle’s not a compulsive person. She didn’t decide this in 3 months. I bet she had been thinking probably in the last 3 or 4 years…” Kathy revealed.

She added: “And I shouldn’t say that, but I did.”

The socialite also noted that she thinks the RHOBH reunion is “good healing for Kyle.”

Kyle and Mauricio announced their separation last summer after 28 years of marriage.

Initially the two maintained that divorce wasn’t on the table yet. However, in 2024, Kyle admitted that if she and Mauricio weren’t going to be a couple she didn’t want to stay married.

The RHOBH OG added that she doesn’t want to remain married just because it would be less complicated for their vast fortune which including businesses, homes, etc.

The RHOBH couple wed in 1996. They share daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Mauricio is also stepfather to Kyle’s daughter Farrah Aldjufrie, 34, from her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.

Meanwhile, Kyle recently opened up about the current status of her relationship with Mauricio while appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show.

“I’m in a happy place. Um, not the happiest place I’ve ever been, but I’m I’m doing a lot better,” she revealed before adding, “We are doing better, and, um, we’re learning to sort of navigate this new normal.”

In RHOBH finale, Kyle and Mauricio have a family meeting with their daughters after news of their separation breaks.

She continued, “We, my husband and I, are still under the same roof with our daughters, just different bedrooms, which feels very strange to share so publicly, but that’s another part of doing what we do. “

“And, you know, we’re good. We don’t fight or anything.  We’re never gonna toxic couple,” she added.

Drew Barrymore then asked, “Do you think you’ll keep that living arrangement? And I ask as someone who has done nesting and tried different dynamics and I’m in a co-parenting dynamic and we’ve had a lot of togetherness and you just keep doing what you think is right.“

The Bravoleb said that for now their living situation is working but it won’t stay like that forever. Kyle adds that she and Mauricio are still “figuring” things out and what steps they deicide to take next.

“Because we are fortunate enough to have other homes and sort of like, you know, moving around, um, it’s working for now. Obviously, it’s not gonna stay like that. It can’t stay like that forever. And because of my kids’ ages, it’s not like they’re toddlers. So, you know, eventually, you know, we’ll figure it out and take it to the next step, whichever that step may be. We’re still figuring it out,“ Kyle explained.

Part three of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hillseason 13 reunion airs March 13 at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
