Kathy Hilton & Teddi Mellencamp Talk Possible Returns to RHOBH

RHOBH alums Kathy Hilton and Teddi Mellencamp both discuss whether or not they would ever return to the Beverly Hills Housewives franchise.

Bravo fans are always excited about the possibility of a Real Housewives alum returning to the fold, so fans are buzzing over the news that two former RHOBH stars are discussing returning to the franchise.

Kathy Hilton recently admitted that she is on board to return to RHOBH but says the final decision will have to be made by her youngest sister and RHOBH OG, Kyle Richards.

“I’ve just finished Season 2 [of Paris in Love], and I think that’s up to Kyle,” Kathy told The Messenger. “And if it’s organic and it works out. I never say no. Never say never.”

The socialite appeared on RHOBH as a friend of the Housewives for two seasons. After much speculation, Kathy signed on to join the season 12 cast of RHOBH and quickly became a fan favorite with her kooky behavior. However, the tides turned by season 13 when Lisa Rinna and Erika Jayne attempted to expose Kathy’s much-discussed off-camera meltdown in Aspen. The drama caused a rift between Kathy and Kyle and ultimately led to Kathy exiting the show.

Meanwhile, former diamond holder Teddi Mellencamp also discussed the possibility of returning to RHOBH while appearing on Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s podcast, Speidi’s 16th Minute.

Teddi admits that she’s open to returning to RHOBH but only in a full-time capacity. The 42-year-old says she would NOT return to RHOBH in a limited role.

The All-In accountability coach explained:

“I would not go back on in a limited capacity. Like, there was multiple times this year that, you know, they asked, Would you come on? Will you come film this? Like, the dinner party from hell part 2 is about to take place. And I was asked to film that night, and I and I said no. There was one time this year that I did go back solely because a friend of ours passed away, And I wanted to be at that event to support my other friend who was having it, but, no, not in a limited capacity.”

Teddi joined the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2017 during season 8. She starred in the franchise for three seasons before being let go in 2020 ahead of season 11.

Oddly enough, Teddi’s comment on returning comes not too long after Bravo executive producer Alex Baskin appeared on the November 10th episode of Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge‘s Two T’s in a Pod podcast, where they discussed why she was fired from RHOBH.

According to Alex, the decision to fire Teddi was difficult to make but ultimately came down to the fact that RHOBH fans didn’t like her.

“Oh God. That’s tough. In yours, I think there was a strong audience reaction to you. So, I do think that was part of it. Not gonna deny that. And I also think that you were self-conscious,” he explained.

Despite Teddi being fired from RHOBH, the EP claims that he and his team enjoyed what the All-In accountability coach brought to the show.

“The production always had your back. I was a big fan of yours because you would say things that other people were thinking and wouldn’t say,” he said. “I think it felt like then, on that show, you weren’t comfortable in your own skin. … I think that was the issue.”
