It seems that Kyle Richards separation from Mauricio Umansky may be permanent as the RHOBH star has removed her married name from her Instagram profile.
Kyle Richards dropped her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky’s last name from her social media after he reportedly moved out of their marital home.
On Thursday, fans noticed that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star swapped from “Kyle Richards Umansky” to “Kyle Richards” on Instagram.
Despite removing her married name, she still describes herself a “wife” in her Instagram bio, which reads: “Mom, wife, actor, author, producer, animal lover, a RHOBH, CAA.”
This change comes just days after reports revealed that Mauricio Umansky had moved out of their shared Encino mansion.
Per Us Weekly, the 53-year-old founder of The Agency has purchased a luxury condo in a West Hollywood development which is where he is currently residing. Matt Damon reportedly owns an $8.6 million unit in the same building.
Kyle and Mauricio separated in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage. The two did not officialy confirm their separation until September.
The pair have yet to officially file for divorce. A source notes that divorce “not an option they are exploring” at this time due their financial entanglements and the fact that they do not have a prenup.
“They both agreed it’s too messy financially as Kyle has a huge stake in The Agency,” the insider tells Us Weekly.
The ex-RHOBH couple wed in 1996. They share daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Mauricio is also stepfather to Kyle’s daughter Farrah Aldjufrie, 34, from her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.
