Jax Taylor is changing his tune on Tom Sandoval. The Pump Rules alum has offered Sandoval a job at his new bar amid the fallout from Scandoval.
Vanderpump Rules OG Jax Taylor publicly offered Tom Sandoval a job at his new sports bar, Jax’s Studio City.
On Twitter, Jax Taylor tweeted: “Sandoval, if you need a job, let me know! #jaxstudiocity #bar #liunge #sportsbar.”
This offer comes just days after Jax Taylor and his wife, Brittany Cartwright, announced their plans to open a sports bar.
After years of working in the restaurant business, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are opening a sports bar in Los Angeles. No longer will the former SUR staffers be serving crispy chicken or making Pumptinis. Instead, they will be running a family-friendly, neighborhood sports bar that will have a southern twist to it.
“We started construction on Monday, and I am really excited. We are finally going to have a neighborhood sports bar,” the 44-year-old explained on his and Brittany’s When Reality Hits podcast.
He continued, “My wife is involved just as much as I am. We have 100 percent say in what is going on, and she is doing the decorating.”
While announcing his and Brittany’s plans to open a sports bar, Jax took the time to address his past comments that owning a bar is a “marriage killer.” Jax Taylor previously shaded his former best friends, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz, after their respective relationships fell apart during the process of opening their bar Schwartz and Sandys.
“The difference between some other people that we know that did a bar without their significant others is that I am involving mine,” Jax quipped.
Meanwhile, Jax went on to claim that he only wants the best for Sandoval and insists his post about a job offer was nothing more than a joke between old friends. Sure, Jax.
“We have a long history, and we like making fun [of] each other. It’s harmless. Don’t read into things,” Jax wrote. “I want the best for Tom. He’s going through a lot, and I know it’s time we just let things heal or be and move on. No point in grilling the guy anymore. We have all made mistakes.”
Vanderpump Rules returns to Bravo in 2024 for season 11.
