Kyle Richards reveals how she and Mauricio Umansky are doing amid their marital troubles, which are set to play out on season 13 of RHOBH.
During a recent Amazon Live, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star admitted that things between her and Mauricio have been rough and complicated.
“That’s a very loaded question. This has been very hard to do [because] it’s playing out with so many people having eyes on us and being in the public eye,” Kyle Richards told fans after one asked: “How are you and Mo doing?”
“Obviously, we care about each other a lot. You know, here we are on vacation,” Kyle added.
Rumors about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star marriage have been circulating for years, but Kyle Richards always denied them.
However, in recent months, fans began to notice that Kyle was spending more time with her friend Morgan Wade and less time with Mauricio. Some fans even noticed that Kyle stopped posting photos with Mauriucio on Instagram.
Many fans speculated that something romantic was going on between Morgan and Kyle. Fans even noted that the two have matching tattoos.
The gossip was further fueled when PEOPLE reported that Kyle and Mauricio were separating after 27 years of marriage.
According to sources, Kyle and Mauricio had “been separated for a while now.”
However, the two “are still living under the same roof. They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.”
Kyle and Mauricio both denied being separated in a joint statement on social media.
“In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding divorcing are untrue,” the joint statement read. “However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously.”
The statement continued, “There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately. While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”
As for the rumors about Kyle and Morgan, both have denied that they are anything more than friends. When it comes to their matching tattoos, Kyle noted that she has matching tattoos with several friends, including former RHOBH co-star Teddi Mellencamp.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is reportedly returning to Bravo for season 13 in late 2023. Some reports suggest season 13 will premiere on November 1.
