Melissa Gorga Admits She Has ‘No Idea’ if She’ll Be Back for Season 14 of RHONJ; Addresses Claims Teresa Giudice Has the Power To Get Her Fired

Bravo

Melissa Gorga admits that her future on the Real Housewives of New Jersey is uncertain.

The mom of three doesn’t know if she’ll be back for season 14 of RHONJ amid her ongoing feud with sister-in-law and co-star Teresa Giudice.

In a new interview with The U.S. Sun, Melissa admitted that she doesn’t know if Bravo plans to ask her back for another season.

“Melissa Gorga said I do not know what Bravo’s going to decide. I have no idea.”

However, Melissa doesn’t believe that Teresa, the remaining RHONJ OG, has “the power” to get her fired from the show.

“I do not. I mean, I think that the Tre [Huggers] started the rumor, and people went with it, which is crazy to me.”

Melissa notes that season 13 has been a difficult and “brutal” season for her and her husband, Joe Gorga.

“I think this season is brutal. It’s been brutal, and it’s very hard for me to watch. It’s hard for Joe to watch. It’s just been a very sad season for us, and it’s one of those things where some things are out of your control. At this point, we’re just rolling with the punches.”

Meanwhile, both Jennifer Aydin and former RHONJ villain Kim DePaola have recently weighed in on Melissa’s future on RHONJ.

Jennifer previously told The U.S. Sun that she didn’t want to see Melissa fired from RHONJ and lose her job.

“I don’t ever want to see anyone be fired from their job. I’m not the boss. I don’t make the rule on if they want them back or not back- whatever Bravo wants, Bravo gets. I’m a very good employee, and I will work with all of my co-workers. Please know that! Nobody gets fired! But I trust Bravo knows what they’re doing.”

As for Kim D, she thinks that Melissa and Joe will be “lucky if they get another season.”

Kim explained:

“I think Teresa is so cemented in [Bravo] that nobody could ever steal her spotlight. She is the queen of Bravo. There is no one that Bravo has given more power to than Teresa. She has [an] enormous amount of power.”

RHONJ airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm on Bravo.

I don't think Bravo plans to have the Gorgas back. They have created their own issues with no story line and all the lies. I think they are played out at this point along with a lot of viewer sentiments that has turned against them. The comments below I believe are right that Teresa doesn't get dictate who is part of the cast.

Vicki Gunvalson thought she was the Queen of Bravo also. In fact she takes credit for the entire franchise. Lisa Rinna also thought she was safe because of the drama she bought. It never occurred to her evidently there is always a line that is crossed with viewers when the toxicity becomes too much and it turns viewers off. I listened to an interview with a former member of a production staff on a Bravo show. She said the only ones who make the decision to fire a HW is at the executive level. She said people calling for Andy to fire or hire someone won't get that person hired or fired if those on the executive level don't want to do it. I am sure the executives hear his opinion but it is ultimately not his decision.

That’s correct. Andy stepped down when he decided to have kids.

That would totally make sense. He is a hired hand, like them, only several levels higher, however is he an executive producer of just his radio show and WWHL or for HW, too?

I think he still is EP of a few of the HW shows.

He is for WWHL and his radio thing but couldn't figure out for what else.

The only reason this season has been brutal for Ms Marco is because she and her husband got in their own way and made it brutal for themselves.

Exactly. They are so consumed with hate and envy. And they use Tre as their cash cow.

I hope Ms Marco and her husband remember how to mow lawns...LOL!

If Ms Marco is let go then okay. If she remains let's see some improvement. She needs to be a better employee and bring her own storyline.

Yes, a REAL Melisa storyline and not fake plots, purchased followers, or just as a prop for the lead. Melissa needs to OWN her own story and then she could steal the spotlight, IF she was interesting. . .

Tre has no power. She is an employee.

Her power is how useful is her dumb, selfish and clueless persona with whatever qualities she has (?) to bring chaos and conflict to having good ratings. I think surely she has outlived her usefulness except the marriage to a sketchy man might give her the storyline she needs unless he blows it. I really think that is why they have 3 brand new people at once (plus 3 new house husbands) although of course they must be considering getting rid of Melissa and Joe. They are finally getting real when they didn't go to the wedding so in a way, they are more interesting.
