Caroline Manzo boasts that she’s all-natural as she bashes Botox and facial fillers!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum claimed that she’s all-natural during a segment of her Food, Love, and Chaos cooking show with designer Isaac Mizrahi.
“This is all-natural, thank you so much,” Caroline said, explaining that she keeps her figure in shape from “walking.”
Caroline did admit to having a tummy tuck, in the past, following the birth of her three children. Yet, Caroline and Mizrahi both admit they are against Botox.
“There’s a lot of lids for a lot of jars. Just go and be you,” Caroline explained. “I am afraid of it. For one moment, I don’t believe that any of that is good for you. When you’re injecting it in your face, it’s just craziness.”
Despite Caroline’s claims that she’s “all-natural,” the former Bravoleb underwent a facelift in 2019.
She revealed this news on her oldest son Albie Manzo‘s podcast, Dear Albie.
“I’m going to be 58, and so those things start to play on your mind a little bit,” Caroline explained. “Now I started to gain weight in the past year. Probably the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life. So, one day, shortly after New Year’s, I woke up, and I decided that you know what, I was spiraling and going to a bad headspace, and I can’t do that for a multitude of reasons. It’s not good for me, it’s not good for the family; it’s not good for a million different reasons. And the first thing I decided to take control of was my weight.”
“Caroline Manzo stated : Listen, I’m not trying to be my daughter [Lauren Manzo],” the Manzod with Children matriarch quipped. “I’m 57. I’m not trying to be 25.”
For her surgery, Caroline turned to New Jersey plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Zubowski, who performed her tummy-tuck 18 years prior. Zubowski also performed Teresa Giudice‘s first breast augmentation, as documented during season one of RHONJ in 2009. Caroline’s daughter Lauren also turned to Zubowski for her breast reduction in 2013.
“I noticed I had on my neck what they call turkey neck, where my skin was just loose under my neck,” the 61-year-old said at the time. “It just freaked me out… I lost all that weight, and then I started seeing my face in FaceTimes, and I went and said to myself, ‘I’m going to the doctor to see what can be done about this.’ I went to go see him, and he said to me, ‘Your neck is not going to snap back because of your age, and it lost elasticity.’ So right then and there, I said, ‘OK, let’s do a facelift.'”
