RHOBH Newbie Annemarie Wiley’s Husband’s Views on the Transgender Community and Their Support for Candace Owens Uncovered – Does a Housewife’s Political Views Matter to You as a Fan? Let’s Discuss

RHOBH's newest couple Annemarie Wiley and Marcellus Wiley

Things are heating up in the 90210, especially with the presence of Annemarie Wiley.

The rumored RHOBH newbie, Annemarie Wiley, is already causing a stir among Bravo fans.

It seems that Annemarie and her husband Marcellus Wiley are set to shake things up on RHOBH thanks to the former NFL star’s opinion on some very controversial tops.

Marcellus has been very vocal about his feelings surrounding the Transgender community. On his YouTube channel and podcast, Marcellus went on a rant about basketball star Dwayne Wade’s Transgender daughter. He also made it know that he doesn’t support Transgender women competing in sports against natural born women like his daughters.

“I have no issue with transgenders. I do have an issue with athletes who are transgendered trying to participate going from a transition of a man to a woman and now playing with the women,” Marcellus tweeted in January. “And, I will say that. You all can try to Dave Chappelle me all you want. I am very clear on this. You can be a transgender. You can be the homie, but I’ll be damned if a male at birth turns into a female and tries to compete against my daughters. She ain’t out there. We out.”

He continued, “Why can’t the dudes who transition to women actually empower women by competing against men?”

“I do have an issue with athletes who are Transgender women trying to compete against biological women. Not against the Wiley Women!” he added.

Bravo fans then uncovered that Annemarie and Marcellus follow several controversial political figures. The couple not only follow right-winged personality Candace Owens on social media but they also follow Joe Rogan.

One fan even alleged that Annemarie and Marcellus are friends with Candace Owens.

Yet, it seems that the Bravoverse is quite divided on their feelings about the Wiley’s political beliefs.

“People are allowed to have their thoughts, priorities and opinions. They don’t have to agree with anyone..glad to have differences,” one fan tweeted.

A second fan commented, “Why do you do this @BravoTV? Why give vile [people] a platform? Jesus. @Andy WTF?”

Fan Tweeted

Other fans insisted that Annemarie and her husband will fit in perfectly with the several members of the RHOBH cast who have their own political skeletons.

“Hmmm well she will fit right in with the majority of the white MAGA Housewives or maybe she is Kyle [Richards’] MIL bestie?” a third fan wrote.

“She’ll fit in well with Sutton [Stracke],” a fourth fan commented with a fifth telling Annemarie, “they’re about to cancel your girl before she even starts filming.”

Another fan said, “WOW! Seriously? No thanks. Stop filming with her and edit her out.”

“Seriously? This is the best you could find? How many rich housewives in BH, and this is what you scraped up? So disappointing!” one other fan commented.

Despite this all, insiders are hopeful that Annemarie will be a great addition to the RHOBH cast.

“She’s got such a lovable personality, lives an active, full life and is married to a great husband with an adorable family life. She’s a hard-working mom. She’s going to be a great fit,” an insider told PEOPLE.

Meanwhile, RHOBH star Erika Jayne recently played coy when asked about the rumored new Beverly Hills Housewife Annemarie Wiley.

“I can neither confirm or deny,” Erika teased while chatting with ET. She noted that Annemarie is a “cool chick. She seems really nice. I met her one time.”

Annemarie is a 40-year-old nurse anesthetist who is also mom to son Marcellus Jr., 7, and daughters Ariya Jayne, 4, Alivia Marie, 3. She’s also a stepmom to her husband’s 24-year-old daughter, Morocca Alise, from a previous relationship.

RHOBH is currently filming and is expected to return for season 13 in late 2023 or early 2024.

Tell us: Do you care about the Wiley’s political views? Sound off below!

Annemarie Wiley is a rumored newbie on the reality show “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (RHOBH). She and her husband Marcellus Wiley are attracting attention due to Marcellus’ controversial opinions on transgender athletes and their participation in sports.

Marcellus Wiley has expressed his opposition to transgender women competing in sports against natural-born women. He believes that athletes who transition from male to female should instead compete against men to empower women.

The response from fans is divided. Some fans support their right to have differing opinions, while others criticize Bravo TV for giving a platform to individuals with controversial views. Some fans believe that Annemarie and Marcellus will fit in well with other RHOBH cast members who also have their own political beliefs.

I feel like a network that actively promotes itself as supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community should not provide a platform for any employees who actively harm that community. Bravo is hypocritical for hiring anti-trans employees.

The RHOB had an opinion during the 2020 election and that was all on camera. I’m glad they’re bringing a wife on with a different opinion. Also, why can’t we have differing opinions? Why is Annemarie being judged for supporting a different party, when there was zero judgment when Erika and other HW were filmed supporting Biden/Harris? Why can we not accept that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and not be fired for it?! This ridiculous. No party is supreme.

Funny people don’t complain when a housewife has liberal views, only conservatives. Glad to see a conservative.

A lot if people agree with him about transgender women in sports competing against cisgender women. It’s not hate speech and not particularly controversial. Shrug.

When I was growing up, I had to fight just to be able to PLAY sports. Girls were meant to look pretty and put ribbons in their hair and study recipes for baking. So when I see men (yes, males - you cannot argue the science XX, XY) taking opportunities away from women, it makes my fur go up.

I hear you. It somehow always feels like women get shafted. The deck remains stacked against us.

I don't give a damn what any of these actors' opinions are on social and/or political issues. None of them seem to be particularly deep thinkers. But I understand the PR value of Bravo making sure this was "leaked" to the tabloids to generate controversy about the coming season.

First of all, this is the husband's opinion, so lets just start with that. BTW most people agree him, I know I do.

Sorry, most RHOBH are allies of LGBTQIA+. Trying to peg Kyle & Sutton doesn't work here at ALL. The new "friend" isn't going to make it in BH. Hear that?? (Its the first nail on her coffin). They can have their different opinions (create discussion), but it doesn't work in this series location. Try NY (Oops not the New NY) or Dallas (cancelled), OC (Hmmmm. Heather), then SLC, NJ, ATL. . . .(will they ever fit in?? Keep trying).

Everyone should be entitled to their opinion. I don’t want to live in a country where people are “cancelled” for speaking their minds. This is not a communist country! What’s next…we have to go to only one kind of church? Listen I have a gay daughter who is extremely successful and downright amazing as is her wife. I am not some bigoted person BUT that being said I truly believe people should be allowed to be Republican or Democrat, have different views and maybe even some crazy opinions. It can also make for some great dialogue and have the show appeal to more people. I truly hope Bravo starts to realize that. Just how Kelly Dodd was cancelled for her stupid comments and actions (I still like the drunk) instead of being left on so the viewers could decide if they agree or not plus it could have created some great dialogue that is much needed.

I mean, all the RHOBH are Trump supporters and that doesn't seem to bother anyone.

Huh? Kim and Kathy are the only cast members with common sense whom I'm aware of, and they aren't full time. The rest are all committed libs, or should I say libs who should be committed ?.

ugggh. So tired hearing how people can't have opinions that differ from "political correctness" and if they do, they will be cancelled before even given a chance.

I knew this thread would be full of trash.

That is your opinion and you have every right to express it. I on the other hand, prefer to listen and hear out everyone's thoughts and ideas and maybe get a different perspective instead of name calling those I disagree with.
