The tea coming out of RHONJ is piping hot!

Brittany Malsch, the ex of RHONJ‘s John Fuda claims that he banned her from seeing their 16-year-old son, Jaiden, according to a new report from The U.S.Sun. John is married to RHONJ star Rachel Fuda. The couple joined the New Jersey Housewives franchise during season 13.

Malsch, who is currently in prison, says it’s difficult to watch her son be his stepmom’s storyline on the hit Bravo show.

Storyline On The Hit Bravo Show

As Bravo fans saw on the April 4 episode of RHONJ, Rachel is trying to legally adopt her stepson. Her husband John gained full custody of Jaiden more than a decade ago.

Until now we didn’t know any details about John’s ex but now we learn that she is currently serving prison time in a halfway house located in Paterson, NJ.

The 35-year-old revealed more details about the Fuda family drama while chatting with The U.S. Sun.

“I’ve tried to get in touch with my son, but John won’t let me,” Malsch said. “Since I’ve gone to prison, John has prevented me from speaking and seeing him whatsoever. This was not my choice.”

She explains that she saw Jaiden “periodically up until 2017,” when she was arrested. Since then she’s been in and out of prison. Every time she has gotten out of prison, she reached out to John in order to see Jaiden but he “refused.”

Malsch claims she made the “extremely selfless decision” to severe her parental rights “for Jaiden’s own good.”

She added: “When I’m out of here, I’ll have to get a lawyer because he won’t let me see him.”

Speaking of getting out of prison, Malsch is eligible for release in September 2023.

Her extensive criminal record includes charges of “burglary-entering a structure, laundering $250,000 cash, and possession with intent to distribute crystal methamphetamine in the first degree”

John and his ex dated for four years and were engaged for two before splitting in 2009.

When it comes to Malsch’s thoughts on RHONJ, she admits that she loves watching the show.

“I think it’s great. I love it,” she said, adding that her son is “amazing” on the show. She also enjoys seeing her ex on the show, noting she found it “extremely comical” adding that “he acts the same as always.”

She’s also “not surprised” by the news that Rachel wants to adopt Jaiden.

“It doesn’t surprise me one bit. I knew they would, so I was expecting it,” she revealed. “I actually predicted this would happen when I first heard about them being on the show.”

“John will take any opportunity to make himself look better by making me look worse,” she continued. “But I’m unfazed by what others say and think.”

RHONJ airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm on Bravo.

The stepson may want to be adopted and before he turns legal. It may be better for him and his self esteem. He matters the most here.

Well, that wasn't so bad if she wanted to have her say. She knows she screwed up and maybe she is planning to consent for Rachel to adopt but wanted to speak publicly. If so that is her best chance of having a relationship with her son when he is an adult if she can stay clean.

The kid is 17. Won’t he be able to make his adoption his own decision in a year? Same with seeing the mother. He won’t need dad’s permission in a year or so. Look at mom surfacing for her shot at making a few bucks. Dealing meth. I’d keep her away from my kids too.

Rachel is learning the hard way that you can't just say anything you want on the show. I hated hearing her badmouth the biological mother of her stepson. I think Rachel should be a one and done. Bravolover1234 is boring AF.

She could have said less, that is for sure. No need to announce the adopting. Did they ask him first what he wanted them to offer up about his personal life? Same with Danielle and even more so. Nobody asked her if she had a brother and nobody asked if they were speaking. She could have gone the whole season without talk about it but she chose to speak up for attention.

Yeah. Whatever happened to “I have a brother but we’re not close”. But nope. Hysterics.

I would have felt better about the Fuda's if the adoption was already in place or on it's way before the joined the show. I also feel John, as full custodial parent, has the right to protect his son from the mother.

Yes, it would have been better for the kid to have his birth mom not be put in this position. If she keeps her nose clean and stays quiet, she will have a chance of a relationship with him when he is older. Adopting is in his best interest, emotionally, realistically and for financial security. However, it was kind of rough (and kind of selfish of her) to put it on TV about adopting him. He is 17 and I don't know how it is a good thing for them to announce it on TV that yeah, his step mom loves him but his real mom is a criminal.

Money laundering? She'll fit right in...make her a HW...hahaha. but seriously, John is the Dad and has every right to keep a bad influence away from his child. Team Dad!

It's amazing that all these people with legal issues will go on a reality show. I know they need the money, but damn. Teresa and Joe would still be doing their thing if they stayed off TV.

Right! Not sure why Rachel went on but obviously money is a factor. She hasn't been overly critical of John's son's mom and it isn't her dirty laundry, however, it has to have affected him so she accept that risk. And that Danielle seems to be very worried about her dirty laundry coming out that she has made a spectacle of herself, in a bad way.
