Actresses Tisha Campbell and Melanie Griffith have reportedly been approached to join the cast of RHOBH. Find out everything we know about their offers and more!

While chatting with Us Weekly Tisha Campbell was asked if she’d ever consider pivoting from acting to reality TV by joining the cast of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The actress revealed that she was approached to join the hit reality TV show but declined the offer.

“I have been asked,” the former My Wife and Kids star revealed.

“But right now is not the time. I’m not anti, it’s just not the time. I’m not as bold to share like that,” she said. “You have to be bold.”

Meanwhile, Radar Online reports that Hollywood royalty Melanie Griffith is close to landing a deal with Bravo to join the cast of RHOBH.

Sources reveal that the actress, who would add some major spice to the RHOBH cast, is warming up to a lucrative offer to join the Beverly Hills Housewives franchise.

“Melanie’s been thinking about it for a while — and the money’s too good to turn down,” an insider said. “Bosses have been trying to lure her for years, but she was too nervous. However, in recent months, she’s gotten to know Kyle well — and Kyle’s been so nice and that’s helped change her mind.”

“She might meet a guy in the process and add excitement to her life, which has been predictable as of late,” the source explained. “Everyone else seems to be having all the fun. This would help her to get out more.”

The RHOBH cast has several opening for season 14 with the departures of Crystal Minkoff and Annemarie Wiley. There’s also rumors floating around that OG Kyle Richards may not return and that longtime star Dorit Kemsley could be on the chopping block.

Bravo has yet to official announce any hirings for season 14 of RHOBH.

Filming for season 14 is expected to begin in May or June.

Someone needs to fill her in on what Teresa, Luis, Jennifer, a blogger and a site (!) did to lie about and trash co workers on NJ. It could happen to her with Kyle and Erika.

Why oh why would any woman, actress or not, willingly join such a misogynistic show which uses humiliation and nastiness as a form of entertainment? I guess there's a masochistic bone in many women who are willing to be treated this way just for the money.

Agree or maybe they just don't do their homework or think they can beat it! I think it is even worse for a successful actress to betray her craft by doing such a cheap trashy version of acting as part of the more trashy, exploitative type of reality TV. I thought Garcelle was lowering herself by being on RHBH and she isn't close to Melanie's status. She may enjoy the experience but the longer she does it, the more she'll regret it I think. When she becomes a fan favorite, Erika and Kyle will conspire with all kinds of tabloid trash about her or like they did with Denise on camera. (It is ok for NJ to do it).

Not to age shame here but make it make sense Bravo..Melanie G. Is 66, and Bravo just basically shut down RHONYC the Original because we were told Luanne, Ramona, Sonia were getting too up there in age because the ratings thing no longer flies because the ratings for the Original NYC blows the doors off the NY remake, and now they are adding HW to BH older than Ramona?? Because she is friends potentially with Kyle. I don’t understand this network and the BS they keep pedaling.(and if we have Kyle’s other wish, her sister Kathy, is 65, and I think Kim is 62 or 63) This cast would steer older than the OG NY they just had pulled off??

That is true. (And it isn't age shaming.) I guess they were thrilled (and very desperate) to get her so it didn't matter. Kyle must have courted her. Even if she quits after the first season, she may not come out of it unscathed, IMO.

I think Tisha would be great. I think she would be opinionated but loving. Melanie not sure. Would they show Dakota? Maybe.

OMG. She is making a big mistake and I know I can't watch that go down. For her to say that about Kyle means she is stupid or hasn't watched much of the show. How can such a nice and accomplished actress lower herself for trashy reality TV.

Bravo has to bring in a friend of say Sutton or Garcelle, someone else, just not Kyle’s “court” again. It is what’s making the show so repetitive, stale, oh, and dropping in the ratings even though Bravo refuses to admit it.

First it was Diane who was even blatant about trying to run off Sutton. Then Annemarie did the same thing. So will Melanie be like Denise and Kyle plots with someone to set her up but pretend to like her?
