Katie Maloney has quite a bit to say about her ex-husband Tom Schwartz‘s rumored new girlfriend.
The Vanderpump Rules star reacted to a fan theory on Instagram that claims that Schwartz only hooked up with Raquel Leviss to keep his real romance with Jo Wenberg under wraps. This allegation makes sense since Jo was living with Schwartz last spring and summer after he moved into his new apartment in Los Angeles. In one scene on season 10 of Pump Rules, Schwartz tells Schena Shay that Jo is living with him but insists they are strictly “old friends” and nothing more. Sure, Jan.
According to Katie, Jo, who is Tom’s longtime friend turned girlfriend, is a “psycho” and acts like a “crackhead” most of the time.
She alleges that no one in the Vanderpump Rules friendship group can stand Jo.
“Jo is spooky. I mean, none of us could stand to be around her,” Katie commented on an Instagram post from @realvanderpump. “Her energy is on par with a crackhead.”
The 36-year-old went on to reveal an odd message Jo sent her last year after she and Schwartz announced their divorce.
“When Tom and I announced our divorce almost a year ago, the last thing she text me was [ a crazy, incoherent message],” Katie explained.
The message read: “Bieber loves you / I love you, and I’m so supporting of your inner thoughts and visions / live in the moment, you’re a gem, and I’ve always respected you. I love you. Xo Jo.”
“She is a psycho, and I will also light her on fire with Rachel,” Katie added, referencing Raquel Leviss‘ real name.
As AllAboutTRH has previously reported, Katie filed for divorce in March 2022, a month after she and Schwartz publicly announced their split. Tom and Katie began dating in September 2010 and tied the knot in August 2016.
Since announcing their split in February 2022, fans have been left in the dark about what led to the Bravo couple’s divorce. Over the past year, Schwartz and Katie have remained ambiguous about why Katie filed for divorce. Instead, they have waited to let their split play out during season ten of Vanderpump Rules, which is currently airing on Bravo.
On the show, currently, Schwartz and Katie are on pretty good terms despite his recent makeout with Raquel Leviss. Raquel continues to express interest in Schwartz.
However, the Bravoverse now knows that when this all was taking place back in late July/early August 2022, Raquel was really in the early days of her seven-month-long affair with Tom Sandoval.
Sandoval and Raquel’s affair became public knowledge on March 3, 2023, just days after Sandoval’s longtime partner Ariana Madix discovered the betrayal and ended their nearly decade-long relationship.
All of this drama will continue to play out during the rest of season 10.
