RHOBH Cast Criticized for Appearing on HBO’s ‘The Prince’ While Claiming ‘Kids are Off Limits!’

Double standard? That’s what many are asking the stars of RHOBH.

Housewives are notorious for stating that kids are off limits and also for stating that they signed up for this but their family did not. Fans were therefore none too pleased that Kyle, Dorit, Lisa Rinna, Teddi, Garcelle and Erika Jayne lent their voices to HBO’s ‘The Prince.’

The Prince is meant to be a satire cartoon depiction of the British Royal Family, but many are voicing their displeasure that they are taking the likeness of three actual children (Prince Gorge, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis) which many argue is mocking them. Prince George is front and center in the show and is painted as a spoiled, rude Instagram obsessed boy who is obsessed with his appearance. In one episode the ladies of RHOBH visit Buckingham Palace after Meghan Markle joins the RHOBH cast and the ladies voiced their depiction in the episode. Take a look at the clips below:

Other unflattering depictions are Prince Philp who recently passed away and is presented as an old man very close to death, Kate Middleton who seems to have a drinking problem and can’t stand William and Prince Louis who is an angry with a strong cockney accent. Commenters argued that Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have no say in the family they are born into and could be bullied for their depictions on the show. Many commenters were not happy that the ladies of Beverly Hills participated in the show after constantly arguing that kids should be off limits. As of now, none of the RHOBH ladies have given an official statement but it seems that some have taken the promo clips off their social media pages.

RHOBH airs Wednesday’s on Bravo.

Thoughts on the show – have you watched it? Overstepping a line or is everyone being too sensitive?
