Leah McSweeney is content burning every bridge she has in the Bravoverse amid her personal “reality reckoning” against Bravo, Andy Cohen, NBC Universal, and Shed Media.

On top alleging that Bravo’s figurehead, Andy Cohen, snorts cocaine with his favorite Bravolebs, the Real Housewives of New York alum is also hurling allegations against her former co-star Ramona Singer.

In her lawsuit filed on Tuesday in the Southern District of New York, Leah McSweeney, Bravo producers “colluded” with Ramona Singer to “out” her bipolar diagnosis and “falsely” spread rumors “abused” her medication by mixing it with alcohol.

In court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Leah claimed the incident caused her extreme anxiety and depression which caused her to be institutionalized in a psychiatric facility. The former Bravo star used the ordeal with Ramona to back up her claims of a hostile work environment on RHONY that ultimately led to her being institutionalized for mental health treatment.  

According to the 41-year-old, “Upon information and belief, Defendants colluded with fellow RHONY cast member, Ramona Singer (‘Singer’), to ‘out’ Ms. McSweeney’s confidential bipolar disorder diagnosis before Ms. McSweeney disclosed it publicly.”

She also claimed that Ramona “maliciously rumored to other cast members that Ms. McSweeney suffered from bipolar disorder,” as part of the producer’s alleged “plan.”

“Singer stated that Ms. McSweeney’s behavior while drinking could be attributed to both Ms. McSweeney’s bipolar diagnosis and falsely posited that Ms. McSweeney abused her bipolar prescription medication by combining that prescription with alcohol,” the lawsuit read.

Leah McSweeney then alleged that after she complained about Ramona “outing” her bipolar diagnosis, producers “shamed” and “gaslit” her, which ultimately “caused her to suffer extreme anxiety and depression, thereby exacerbating her disclosed mental health disabilities.”

It’s unclear when the Real Housewives of New York will return for season 15 or when filming will begin. RHONY Legacy is currently airing on Peacock.

Yes. She also sent her to live with nuns, or something, when they couldn't handle her constant chaos and reckless behavior. Leah seems to resent it yet knows there weren't many options. If not, she'd probably have ended up in juvenile jail. (Maybe that is what she needed, however, since she still thinks she does no wrong and blames everyone for everything it wouldn't have worked.)

The dad is a great guy. The daughter seems so great, too when she was on camera. I think Leah getting on TV with a daughter at home was very wrong. I think that about all them that are messed up or nasty, however. The daughter's name is Keira or Kira and is 16 and I think she did call her Kiki. If bravo settles on the lawsuit, that bitch better set it aside for college so she can get away from her.

Leah must be going off the deep end because she is the one who announced she is bipolar on TV! Maybe her medication doesn't work if she is taking any or she is getting worse. Before she did announce her previous mental diagnosis, it was obvious Leah's reckless behavior on camera was worrying and kind of distressing to Ramona who didn't know how to deal with her. Meanwhile Leah kept drinking and always justified all her actions. She probably did express concern about working with someone like that and she should have. However if she did, Bravo didn't care and just kept exploiting Leah and the rest of them.

The last thing you should do when you are bipolar is drink. Every doctor will tell you that. And on meds makes it worse because of the mix. I'm bipolar and it is a struggle every day - even with meds, and I've never drank. She needs to take care of herself.

Thanks for sharing. I feel for you and know there is nothing to make it go away. She knew that she shouldn't drink due to that and also because she would do it in excess and still did it, on TV no less! The worst thing about it, IMO, she knew what she did that was reckless or nasty and never apologized while always defending the behavior. She seems like a spoiled, selfish 13 year that never grew up emotionally. On the UGT she was on that I saw, all she did was sulk and complain. So she doesn't like the intermittent job and now wants to blame the job for all her problems for a huge payout, even bigger than the one from the NYPD.

Very Convenient that Leah leaves out how she hired a PR agency, first time a new HW had ever done this, to just promote herself, (usually it is supposed to be Bravo PR who pitches stories for all the HWs). Leah’s pr placed a bunch of hit jobs on Ramona and the other OGs, Sonia and LuAnn, in the New York Post, and even went Ramona’s daughter. Also did many fluff pieces for Leah in the New York Post. So Leah is getting terrible stories about Ramona and her daughter placed in the National press while she is suing her.

Didn't realize that. I think she has a superiority complex among her many other issues. Leah is suing Ramona? For what? Saying she is bipolar when she announced it? She is such trash with the emotional maturity of a pre-teen.
