On this week’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, Ariana Madix refuses to “cower” to ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval as she accuses him of “psychological warfare” in an effort to obtain “dominance” in their home.
Ariana Madix isn’t giving her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval an inch because she knows he will take a mile if she does.
On Tuesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, the 38-year-old said “it was f–king stupid” that she was still living with her ex-boyfriend after she learned in March that he was cheating on her with their co-star Raquel Leviss.
“He has done some weird things like opened my mail and put my plates on my car,” she explained of their living situation. “His most recent thing is that he got this white noise.”
“I got this white noise machine because when the scandal fever was at its peak, things I was saying were being overheard by Ariana and her friends,” Tom argued.
However, Ariana felt that Sandoval’s tactic is “some sort of psychological warfare.”
With Sandoval’s attempts to push her out of their mutually owned home, Ariana shut down his request to use their home to throw a birthday bash for himself despite the Schwartz & Sandy‘s co-owner offering to get her a hotel room for the night.
“That’s not happening,” Ariana told Sandoval’s assistant Ann, who was stuck being a mediator for the estranged exes. “I think that’s very disrespectful and inappropriate. If he wants to have a party, he can have it somewhere else.”
“If there are people here making noise, I will call the cops,” she added.
In her Vanderpump Rules confessional interview, Ariana admitted that the idea of Sandoval throwing a birthday party in her home sent her “spiraling” as she recalled his party history with throwing wild all-hours parties at their home.
“There would be loud music playing, mess, disgusting, everywhere, and it would be, like, three, four, five, sometimes six in the morning,” she explains. “But now that we’re not together, I’m not putting up with that s—.”
After Ariana shut down Sandoval’s initial party request he has Ann counter offer in which he would only have friends over until midnight to celebrate his birthday instead of throwing one of his regular all-night ragers.
“Obviously, Ariana is still very upset with me and though she thinks what I did makes me a criminal,” he said in a confessional. “But I doubt the police are gonna agree with that.”
While meeting up with Vanderpump Rules co-star Lala Kent for coffee, Ariana explained that she wasn’t willing to have Sandoval throw a party in their home.
Surprisingly Lala came to Sandoval’s defense, saying, “I also think that from just a logical standpoint, he’s allowed to have a party at his house.”
“That’s true,” Ariana responded. “but I’m also allowed to call the cops for a noise complaint.”
Ariana ultimately softened on the idea of Sandoval having a party at the house when Ann approached her with the idea of only having over 12 people who would all be gone by midnight.
“Ann did text me and said, ‘Now it’s a group of 12 people and they’ll be gone by midnight.’ I’m like, ‘That seems fine,'” she told Lala.
Lala then asked Ariana if it would be “easier” if she just moved out of the house to which Ariana replied, “Yeah, sure, when the house is sold. Because I’m not here for him trying to assert his dominance, be louder, be more obnoxious, make me uncomfortable and then I cower and let him do whatever.”
The Something About Her co-owner explained, “You can’t sell the house unless both people agree to sell the house. But Tom wants to buy me out and stay there, and I’m not just gonna pack up my clothes and hitchhike down the road because Tom offered me a measly sum of money.”
“The fact of the matter is he broke the home,” she added. “He f—ed all of this up. He doesn’t get to do that and then just, I don’t know, keep it.”
However, it turns out Sandoval’s party didn’t exactly go to plan despite Ariana letting him throw the party at their house.
James Kennedy attended the party and attempted to have a sit down with Sandoval over his affair with Raquel.
When James asked Sandoval if he was sorry for the “ultimate betrayal” Sandoval brought up James sleeping with his ex-girlfriend Kristen Doute.
“You’re not gonna talk about 10 years ago, I’ll stop you right there,” James said. “You’ve got so much growing to do. It’s sad to me.”
Sandoval fired back, “So, you want me to take accountability but you won’t?”
The 32-year-old DJ stormed out of Sandoval’s house and peed in his bushes on the way out.
“Tom wants to go ahead and bring the past, I’m looking for an apology for the now,” James said in his Vanderpump Rules confessional. “Nothing makes it OK for him to be lying to face for six months, outcast me from the entire group, make me seem like I’m crazy all because he was just getting his d— wet.”
Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
