RHOSLC alum Jen Shah claps back, all the way from prison, at Heather Gay’s claim she gave her a black eye during season 3.

Jen Shah may be behind bars but that’s not stopping her from firing back at Heather Gay‘s claim that she gave her that infamous black eye during season 3 of RHOSLC.

Late Tuesday night, a member of Jen’s “Shah Squad” slammed Heather’s claim on the former Housewife’s Instagram account.

The Instagram Story post read:

“BRAVO, if i punched Heather in her eye, you guys would have footage to prove it.”

On top of that Jen also claimed that RHOSLC “can’t live without me.” She also insisted that Bravo is supporting this false narrative because she turned down a one-on-one sitdown with Andy Cohen after she was sentenced to five years behind bars in January 2023.

“It’s clear the show can’t live without me since I was brought up at the beginning, middle and end of season 4. Andy is still butt hurt that I turned down his 1:1 interview. Why would you sit down with someone who “gave” another cast member a black eye? Next story,” she continued.

After a year of speculation and gossip, Heather confirmed on Tuesday’s season 4 finale that her former RHOSLC co-star Jen Shah was the one who gave her a black eye.

“I went on book tour and defended her and took s— for the fact that she gave me a black eye,” Heather quipped.

Heather continued, “I had to ride hard for [Jen], and I had to lie for her. We’re not going to do it again with you.” She then told Monica to “pack her bags and go.”

During the RHOSLC season 3 cast trip to San Diego, Heather woke up with a black eye after a long night of late-night partying. Initially, it was unclear how Heather got the black eye, as the incident occurred when the cameras were down for the night.

Meanwhile, Andy Cohen responded to Jen’s Instagram post from prison on Wednesday’s episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.

“As someone who was just the victim of an online and phone scam where I lost a lot of money, this message comes at an interesting time. So, let me just say that. I just need to predicate that I’m a current victim of fraud, which is what she is in jail for. I’m not connecting her, I’m not saying that she’s responsible for it, but I’m just saying it’s ironic,” Andy said.

He continued, “Let me point out, I don’t want to be captain obvious here, but if we had footage, don’t you think we would’ve aired it? Do you think we wouldn’t have said, ‘Heather.’ Heather’s saying, ‘I don’t know how I got the black eye,’ and then don’t you think we would’ve cut to the footage with a chyron that said, ‘Four hours earlier.’ Pop.”

“So, that’s first of all. That’s quite obvious. Second of all, I had forgotten about the one-on-one with Jen. She is right. I did want to do a one-on-one with her. I don’t care about it anymore. I’m over it. Her stipulations were insane. She wanted, in exchange for this, I’m trying to remember the specifics. I know she wanted us to do a docuseries of her days leading up to jail. She wanted a lot of money and she was still professing her innocence, so it would’ve been another interview of her sitting across from me lying to my face, which we got at two reunions from her, so that’s that. That’s my response to that,” the Watch What Happens Live host added.

Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion airs on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

This b*tch is just unbelievable in her audacity and arrogance. Jail has not humbled this heifer one iota. Andy could have ripped her a new one (and arguably should have), but he was admirably measured in his words while giving this grifter no leniency. Yep, and I think (lady pond aside) that BOTH Jen and Heather knew that Heather…shall we say ‘invited’ the circumstances which led to the black eye, hence the EXTRA awkwardness. The elephant in the room was Heather got shut down after not taking the hint, I think. I don’t think Heather was protecting Jen; she was protecting herself cuz once WHO was established, WHY comes next (and WHY is cuz no means no, right Heather? ?) JMO. ????

She was probably protecting herself but also wanted to sell a book even though it wasn't explained in the book apparently or we would already know she claims Jennifer did it. She is such a liar. She was caught lying right off the bat on UGT by Whitney and Leah and then she kept a low profile. Couldn't stand her on BD before that when she put on her preference sheet she was "Mormon Royalty". That was it for me. (I forgot which BD but it seems like it was the "Adventure" one.? She wore what looked to me like a white mink Russian type big hat. Ha.)

Yes. Below Deck and I think it was Below Deck Adventure. She ended the question of likeable or not for me. The crew was informed by her that she was "Mormon Royalty" which she has also talked about on RHSLC. She got a lot of camera time and acted like she was someone rich and famous and therefore annoying. I like those shows more than HWs because they are closer to reality (people thrown together to do a real job) and she ruined that episode, mostly with too much camera time and acting like she was a big deal.

You raise a good point ... it's like Heather is riding the fence on her Mormon faith. I believe it was Witless who revealed that Heather still hasn't officially excommunicated herself from LDS. Plus, for someone who allegedly left the church, she sure does seem "involved and present" in Lisa Barlow and Jack's Mormon journey. I would think by now, that LDS would have helped her out the door.

The church kicked her out when she got a divorce. Getting off the registry is beyond that and has to be done by Heather and she isn't going to bother with it. Whitney explained that it benefits the church by having so many names on the registry. She was a heavy duty Mormon, buying into all of it. She's angry and hurt still but she happily rejects it and seems to realize it wasn't so great. Heather is confused between who she is and who she wants to be. IMO.

Oh, I forgot. She was so into Jack's journey because she was jealous because she thinks Lisa is a bad Mormon! "Lisa is not a good Mormon but her kid goes on a mission but I was a perfect Mormon and got kicked out so my kids can't" might be her thought process. She resents Lisa because she is still a Mormon although I guess not a high level one. (So weird to me.) Later on she sort of acknowledged she was jealous.

If so, we'll never know because Heather would never say plus she is a liar and Jennifer is a liar. Her lying so long makes it seem like either she did something wrong or something she wants nobody to know about. She is still a sort of brainwashed Mormon, IMO. The book was because they kicked her out due to her divorce.

Yeah, you nailed it. We will never know the truth cuz both of them are liars. I think they both got drunk and ‘playful’ ? Heather wanted a little more play and Jen at some point (whether right away or after already saying ‘no’ ) made her position on the matter crystal clear with her fist ?. I think Jen regretted doing it (or maybe not idk) BUT she wasn’t about to take ANY accountability for it cuz that’s just not Shahmazing ?. And Heather was probably pretty mortified by the rejection, so… ? AWKWARD. Lol ?

You just reminded me that I actually thought briefly both Jennifer and Heather might be trans and thought, "Oh they are going to talk about Mormon religion and also have the first trans people on HW...might be interesting and educational...". Then I quickly realized they were regular women.

They DO both kinda have a case of man face! But yeah, sometimes man face just happens. ???? Some men sorta have girly faces too. It happens. Meh. I do, however, think in Jen’s case, it’s mostly or entirely due to unfortunate procedures (she was pretty before all the work she had done to her mug) whereas, Heather has softened some of the rough edges off her masculine features with procedures, not enough to obliterate them but soften and feminize them a bit, imo.

I agree. Actually it was drag queens as I recall. Oops. However when I saw them, they weren't performing so I thought maybe trans women for less than a minute. I also think Erika and so many others could be mistaken for drag queens but they aren't. Yes, Heather is big and has masculine features and Jennifer is big and has had too many procedures. (I've never thought of or noticed men with girly faces and I'm old. Ha! However, I was never much attracted to guys with blonde hair for some reason now that I think of it which is no reflection on them.)

Mary is disgusting and also pitiful, IMO and disturbing to watch due to her behavior and words on camera and I'm judgmental regarding what is known about her personal life. So consider that I add "IMO" to everything I said previously. I agree the Mormon religion has some cultish aspects and would never, ever defend that religion nor Pentecostal. She is. I started wanting her gone after she was on Below Deck Adventure. So she is the one who stole the bottle? Makes sense and I forgot about that. It had to be her plus she did the coy act when questioned. That booze isn't cheap and part of the cost is the collectible ceramic bottle. You are right, it was another example of her doing something underhanded and letting others be blamed. Whitney and Leah caught her in a lie in the beginning of that show so I guess she had to do something else to run the narrative. I agree she should be fired yet she is basking in the attention instead. She is very busy creating drama and working with production to do it. The fake vomiting in the van was when it was clear it was all a cheap act for drama. I guess after the Shah drama, production worked closely with Heather to contrive at any cost and it ends up being cheap slapstick comedy at times. That show never was any good and I hope it is canceled. They may bring Monica back. I couldn't stand her long before the account thing. That is just another example of Heather working with production to create drama. It ended up looking like slapstick comedy in my opinion, however I wouldn't want to work with someone that devious but I wouldn't have wanted to work with the POS anyway.

So what. You don't get it. We (you and I, for example) insult mostly trashy people who choose to be on trashy reality TV that we don't know, don't communicate with and they don't know what some strangers' opinions are of them unless they read tabloid sites like this. So what. I did think that at first for a few minutes. I actually thought maybe they are showcasing a religion and trans or drag queens with the new HW show...If so, I was open minded. However, it is expected on a tabloid site about reality Tv (except all about the real housewives) that people never get personal (accuse, name call and so on) toward another commenter about their opinions about people who choose to be on trash TV.
