RHOSLC star Heather Gay FINALLY provided long-awaited answers as to how she wound up with a black eye after a night of partying last season.

The mystery behind Heather Gay‘s infamous season three black eye is finally solved.

After a year of speculation and gossip, Heather confirmed on Tuesday’s season 4 finale that her former RHOSLC co-star Jen Shah was the one who gave her a black eye.

The shocking or perhaps not-so-shocking revelation came to light after Heather and RHOSLC co-stars Whitney Rose, Lisa Barlow, and Meredith Marks confronted newie Monica Garcia for her alleged involvement in the snarky Instagram troll account Reality Von Tease.

Heather likened Monica’s shady behavior to her former BFF Jen, who is currently serving five years in a federal prison for her role in a nationwide telemarketing scheme.

“We are friends, and we have been through this b—s— before with Jen,” Heather exclaimed, noting that the women of RHOSLC cast “shut down feelings of doubt” with the former Housewife.

“I went on book tour and defended her and took s— for the fact that she gave me a black eye,” Heather quipped.

The ladies of RHOSLC were flabbergasted by Heather’s admission.

Meredith immediately asked, “What?” with Lisa gasping before saying, “Woah,” from across the table.

Heather continued, “I had to ride hard for [Jen], and I had to lie for her. We’re not going to do it again with you.” She then told Monica to “pack her bags and go.”

During the RHOSLC season 3 cast trip to San Diego, Heather woke up with a black eye after a long night of late-night partying. Initially, it was unclear how Heather got the black eye, as the incident occurred when the cameras were down for the night.

At the RHOSLC reunion, Heather continued to play coy about how she got the black and if she even remembered how it happened despite previously saying: “I think we all know what happened; I just think we don’t want to talk about it.”

“I don’t know how I got the black eye,” Heather claimed at the season three reunion. “I blacked out. I don’t know what happened. … I cannot speak to anything other than I walked to my room, and I blacked out, and I woke up with a black eye.”

Since the incident occurred last season, many RHOSLC fans have speculated that Jen was responsible for Heather’s black eye.

More details about Heather’s black eye will be revealed during part one of the RHOSLC season 4 reunion.

Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion airs on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Heather's a liar and now wants sympathy for it. She dragged it out intentionally and even said the answer was in her book but it isn't apparently. Even if she was covering for the criminal, she didn't have to keep lying about it or talking about it. Reminds me of how willing she was to change the story with water in the van supposedly vomit. It wasn't vomit and didn't look like vomit so viewers thought it was pee (not) so on WWHL she said, "Oh maybe it was pee". She seems to have traded her devotion from Mormonism to the devil (bravo) she sold her soul to! Ha! IMO.

I like Heather but the drama is hilarious. You would think she revealed who killed JFK on the beach. Their reactions were ridiculous. And who lets anybody run up a bill at a med spa. I go to them. You buy a package in advance or pay when you leave. You can’t owe them money or they won’t provide the service. Odd.

I didn't think they did. They have pretty strict payment policies. Does Chicago have Beauty Lab spas as well? If yes, I wonder if it's a franchise.

I think she mentioned she had several in the SLC area. No none in Chicago. It’s more expensive, but generally better and safer to go to a dermatologists office for that stuff. Especially peels.

There was a detailed story about it. She paid the deposit. Sounds like she got by too long not paying the rest until they finally decided to sue for it. They probably aren't as experienced in business as they should be or hadn't been burned enough, perhaps. Then she countersued saying she had damages all the sudden. However, who knows with these people and tabloid stories. It has become the slap stick comedy HW show. It is also by far the most obviously contrived by production that I've watched.

Yes! However, if it had to do with anything resembling what Angie suggested she will have no problem lying about how it happened. At least she can tell the truth about whether it was accidental or intentional. Then these tabloids will be quoting Jennifer squawking about it from prison and it will be some other story.
