Page Six reports that Mary Cosby allegedly called Lisa Barlow’s 12-year-old son, Henry Barlow, the R-word during a heated argument while filming season 5 of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

According to one insider the offensive remark was made during a “crazy fight” that took place between the RHOSLC cast members earlier this month.

Drama between Lisa Barlow and Mary Cosby is set to play out during season 5.

The insider notes the Lisa’s co-stars Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Meredith Marks and Angie Katsanevas were bothered by Mary’s part in the exchange. 

“The entire cast … was beyond grossed out” by Mary’s alleged use of the slur, says the source.

However, a third source says that while Lisa was initially “very upset” she and Mary have since moved on from the fight and put the drama behind them. The two are currently filming alongside the rest of the RHOSLC cast in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for the season 5 cast trip.

“They made amends over the situation and are moving on,” the insider shares. 

It’s unclear what prompted the drama and Mary’s unprovoked verbal attack on Henry Barlow.

No word yet on whether or not the incident will air when RHOSLC returns to Bravo later this year.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City will return for season 5 in late 2024.

WHY IS SHE ON AGAIN? The same Mary that just sat in the sprinter van, said rude nasty things to the other women AND just looooved Vomica? She adds less than zero to the show. Isn’t there a grandpa she needs to check on? Or her felon son?

I would love to ask Asswipe Cohen how he justifies rewarding a blatant racist whom the viewers clearly despise (Mary) with a contract. Seeing her making fun of Jenni's "yellow tones" and "slanted eyes" was the craziest shit we're ever seen on any HW franchise. Then when she refuses to show up for the reunion, and he fires the victim! In the same season, she also repeatedly denigrates her own race. How does this makes sense?

Of course Mary would do that and think nothing of it. She name calls everyone like a mean, spoiled, mentally unstable child, IMO. All they can do is correct her and then ignore her. Wait! Why the heck is this possible? That monster was hired again!?? She's the one with the problem son, so that should be her storyline. Ha! Or maybe the husband that doesn't live with her at least half of the time? Or will she not participate and just insult as usual.

Wow, I'm not current. I had to google to find out what the "R" word is. Okay, not cool. Mary has never had a filter and let's face it, she's pretty bad tempered. She has always been allowed to go too far with the name calling. As in labelling Heather inbred. Again, not cool.

So glad they kissed and made up before their girlfriend getaway to Puerto Vallarta. Pfffffft… did NBC slash the Bravo budget or were there no rooms available in Haiti??? PV is a toilet bowl guarded by Frito banditos with machetes, you couldn’t pay me. Bravo continues to lower the bar substituting broke nobody’s with chronic fake drama filled garbage. I've never been but I think Mexico is scary too. I wonder if there are any safe spots to travel to in Mexico?

Not according to the US State Department it's on the no travel list. I've been to several Mexican states while not recently, not much has changed. It's cheap travel if one doesn't mind risking their life

My sister used to go to Acapulco all the time back in the day. I think she still has some of her souvenirs. And the old movies where they just drive to Tijuana for a night. The pictures of Mexico are just beautiful and I think it's probably great until something happens and there's no one to call for help. Poor Mexico.

NJ never made it out of state apparently. Didn't want to waste money on it. I never liked SLC to begin with and it is the most contrived other than Jennifer actually went to prison
