RHOSLC Recap: Monica Garcia Exposed for Deceiving Co-Stars in Shocking Finale

The RHOSLC cast learn the truth about their new co-star Monica Garcia.

The RHOSLC cast broke down after discovering their costar, Monica Garcia, played a role in alleged “character assassinations” on social media.

RHOLSC newbie Monica Garcia is on thin ice with her co-stars.

On Tuesday’s RHOSLC season 4 finale, the ladies discovered that Monica was allegedly behind the snarky Instagram troll account Reality Von Tease.

Heather Gay explained that the Reality Von Tease Instagram account was “dedicated to annihilating and exposing” former RHOSLC star Jen Shah before quickly expanding its attacks to her, Whitney Rose, Lisa Barlow, and Meredith Marks.

“These were character assassinations,” Heather said of Reality Von Tease‘s posts since the page was created over three years ago. “But we never knew who it was.”

Heather made the discovery that Monica was behind the Reality Von Tease Instagram account during the finale day of the RHOSLC cast trip to Bermuda. Heather’s longtime hairdresser and Monica’s former friend, Tenesha, “came clean” about Monica’s involvement in the troll account.

After breaking the news to Whitney, Lisa, and Meredith on the beach, Heather confronted Monica at dinner.

Heather Gay reveals the truth about Monica Garcia’s secret identity to the RHOSLC cast.

“I know who you really are,” Heather told Monica. “Who you really are is the cyberbully internet troll Reality Von Tease.”

“You are Reality Von Tease. You are an Internet troll. You are a cyberbully. You have been tweeting, undermining, and bullying all of us for four years. You are Reality Von Tease. I have the facts to prove it, and I know texts came from your phone number,” Heather shouted.

Despite her initial denial, Monica then confessed, “That’s not entirely true,” which shocked the ladies who were dying to know what “not entirely” meant.

“That means it’s part true,” Monica replied.

“I didn’t say s— about anyone else other than Jen, and I will own that to the grave,” the RHOSLC rookie shouted at the women. She then claimed that numerous other people, including Heahter’s hairdresser and Jen’s former designer, Koa Johnson, were also responsible for the account.

In her confessional, Monica admitted that she didn’t see Reality Von Tease as a “bad thing.” Instead, she claimed, “I think that’s just telling the truth.”

She also said that the group behind Reality Von Tease had a goal to “take down Jen Shah,” noting that the other women “were just collateral damage.”

Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion airs on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

I really thought she was going to deny everything, but Von Tease she came clean ... she sure is a cool one. If she does come back, we will know it's all just scripted nonsense, because in reality, no one in the cast would have anything to do with her. She's been Miss Quad-ed!~

I'm a little confused on specifically what the issue is, not that it doesn't sound despicable enough for them to write her off and try to get her fired. So by "cyberbullying", Monica and possibly a few others using that account SENT threatening, harassing, etc texts and messages directly to them and for four years? Or they just POSTED info, including lies, about them on social media and tabloids? If it is the former and directly to them, isn't it some sort of crime or at least worthy of a lawsuit? So that could be why Bravo wanted her. If she knows that, she'll blab sooner or later, IMO. I thought they skimmed over her different names she's used at Heather's business and the fact she didn't pay her bill (and at some point countersued to avoid it) too fast. So Jennifer gave her the black eye? Not that we didn't already know, but Heather lies a lot. Production knew that, too. There was a 50-50 chance but was it intentional or drunken wrestling? Or is Heather lying and she was just drunk.

Monica was toxic...she's now been upgraded to evil.

You would have thought she was announcing she found jimmy hoffas body by their reaction. Each trying to outdo the other in shock. Lol. Eyerolll Oh Heather. Who gets to run up a bill at a med spa. You pay in advance always.

100% convinced that Production TOTALLY knew who Monica was and that's why they hired her. It's not like these women don't gossip and spread lies about each other on social media. Still, great TV!

You are absolutely correct! I thought that too after watching the episode. I just don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing.

Seems like it. I think the show is the most contrived of the ones I've watched by production and at least Heather is in on a lot of it. If Monica doesn't get renewed, she'll blab about it if she knows or suspects that has to do with her being hired, IMO. What I don't get is if it was just garbage on social media and tabloids or actual cyberbullying and harassing like Heather said.

It was a good finale, my opinion- the best of all the franchises in years! Bring on the reunion!!

It was what a finale is supposed to be with three issues addressed although it still leaves questions. Hope the reunion answers some of them.

I agree about questions still, and about hoping that they get answered.

? I don’t doubt it’s a group involved. Monica started out with Jen, but once she got the snowflake (what do they hold?) I believe she left the account to the others. She is not one to bite the hand that feeds her. Guilt by association.
