Season 13 of RHOBH premiered last week without its longtime resident pot-stirrer, Lisa Rinna, who made known she’s happy to be off the show.
No Bravo fan expected Lisa Rinna to keep her lips zipped amid the return of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, so it wasn’t surprising when one of her infamous shady posts popped up on Instagram.
The season 13 premiere episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills proved that there’s plenty of drama to come this season – even without Lisa Rinna.
Season 13 stars OG Kyle Richards and longtime stars Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, and Crystal Kung Minkoff. Annemarie Wiley will join them as the newest Housewife in the 90210 following the departures of Lisa Rinna and Diana Jenkins following season 12.
Over the weekend, Lisa Rinna took a shot at Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and her former co-stars when she shared a text message she received from someone in her life following the season 13 premiere episode last Wednesday night.
On her Instagram Story, Lisa Rinna shared a text from a friend that read:
“Thank goodness you are not on this show anymore, sweetie. God is protecting you, clearly.”
While the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast has yet to come on Lisa’s shady AF post, Bravo fans had quite a bit to say.
“She probably messaged that to herself….” one fan commented, while a second echoed: “She sent this to herself. All incoming text is on the right. All sent texts are on the left.”
“God is protecting everyone from HER,” a third fan wrote. A fourth hypothesized: “It is Erika. Erika says clearly a lot at the end of her sentences and calls people sweetie.”
“She’s literally sooooooo desperate,” a fifth fan commented, while another quipped: “She’s missing the attention clearly. Without the show she’s irrelevant.”
Oddly enough, the season 13 premiere vindicated Lisa Rinna and proved that she was NOT fired from the show.
In January, Lisa Rinna announced her exit from RHOBH after eight seasons on the show. The former soap star joined the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2014 during season 5. She remained a full-time cast member on the show until her exit following season 12.
The news left many Bravo fans scratching their heads, with many speculating: Did Lisa quit? Was she fired? What is the truth behind Lisa’s exit?
During the season 13 premiere of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa’s resignation email to Bravo appeared on screen.
The email, dated September 10, 2022, reads:
“I will not be renewing my contract, and I will not be coming back to RHOBH. Thank you so much for 8 years!!!! All the best, Lisa.”
Despite Lisa’s resignation email, there is allegedly more to the story surrounding her exit from RHOBH.
Andy Cohen previously claimed that Lisa quit RHOBH after filming the season 12 reunion. However, she “immediately regretted” her decision and took back her resignation.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
