Kathy Hilton opens up about her recent reconciliation with sister Kyle Richards while hinting that her feud with Lisa Rinna is also over.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fan-favorite hosted an Instagram Live where she dished on a bevy of hot topics, including her drama with Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna.
To start, Kathy, who won’t be returning for season 13 of RHOBH, reacted to Lisa Rinna scoring a role in the upcoming season of American Horror Story.
Kathy said she would “definitely” be watching Rinna on American Horror Story. The mom of four wishes Rinna “the best” and thinks getting back into acting will be “great” for the former soap star.
“She just got a role with Ryan Murphy on [American Horror Story] … nothing but the best … I think this will be great for her. Everybody likes to keep busy, and she’s gonna do what she… She loves acting and keeping busy, so I will definitely watch,” she shared.
Then Kathy opened up about a private moment she and her sister Kyle had in Aspen while attending their niece Whitney Davis’ marriage to Luke Graham White.
“I went into the hair salon because it was the wedding, and it was great because it was on a peaceful street in Aspen,” Kathy shared, according to Bravo Breaking News on Instagram. “No music, which I love when you go to get your hair done. I mean, that’s a special treat to get your hair done. I don’t want to feel like I’m at a nightclub.”
As Kathy was getting ready for Whitney’s wedding at the salon, she realized that she wasn’t the only one there.
“I see this girl getting her hair washed, and she said, ‘That’s my sister, Kathy,’” Kathy explained before confirming that the other woman in the salon was her sister Kyle.
“I didn’t have my glasses on. I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’ And we talked alone. It was really, really sweet … So that warmed things up a bit as well,” she continued.
As AllAboutTRH previously reported, Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton made peace in Aspen while attending Kim Richards’ daughter’s wedding.
While in Aspen, Kathy and Kyle poked fun at their beef while having a full-circle moment.
The sisters stopped by Kemo Sabe, which is where Kathy started to have a meltdown and ranted about the RHOBH cast, including her sister Kyle.
At Kemo Sabe, Kyle and Kathy posed together with bottles of tequila – one bottle read“Kendall’s Tequila” while the other read “Kathy’s Tequila.” As they posed for photos, Kathy apologized to Kyle for her behavior during the season 12 cast trip.
Days later, Kyle opened up about Kathy’s apology.
“It really meant a lot to me,” the 54-year-old admitted during an Amazon live stream last week.
“We were kind of, like, laughing it off,” she continued. “So many people were watching us and filming us on their phones, but it actually meant a lot to me.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return for season 13 in late 2023.
