Siggy Flicker was featured on the Real Housewives of New Jersey on season 7 and season 8 when she decided two seasons were enough for her and shockingly quit. For the first time in five years, Siggy is revealing exclusively to AllAboutTRH podcast why she quit the hit show and it has everything to do with Margaret Josephs.
Siggy told us, “My daughter came home one day and said you are never going to believe what happened today.”
Siggy reveals that her step-daughter was informed by her biological mother that Margaret Josephs randomly reached out to Siggy’s husbands Michael Campanella ex-wife.
Siggy reflects, “I got on the floor and said Michael, I don’t like to admit when I am wrong. And I said Michael, you were right (about the show)”
She explains that Michael wasn’t really fond of the show and that he ultimately wanted to protect his kids and when it got to a point that Margaret was reaching out to his ex-wife. Siggy says that they both thought this could really impact the children.
Siggy explains, “my kids were younger and I have four children. We are a big blended family. And I thought they are going to bring her on to do something or to hurt the kids or whatever it was. Why would Margaret need to have conversation with my husband’s ex-wife?”
Siggy adds, “that is exactly who she (Margaret Josephs) is. We have nothing to hide. We are an open book. I post everything I am doing. I might not be someone’s energy and although we had nothing to hide, we have kids. And Michael told me, these kids don’t want to do it and he doesn’t want to do it.”
Siggy continues, “kids want to be kids and it came to the realization that if you don’t have your husband and children behind you – there’s no where to go but out.”
This comes as no surprise with Margaret Josephs as she has a history of having an arsenal on the RHONJ cast. In past seasons we have seen Margaret befriend Marty adding fuel to an already complicated relationship with her former friend Danielle Staub. It was confirmed that Margaret Josephs was behind the Evan cheating rumor. It was also confirmed that Margaret was speaking to Louie’s exes when he first came on the show and Margaret was behind the Melissa Gorga cheating rumor. Margaret even exposed Bill’s infidelity from ten years ago and now Siggy Flicker is revealing Margaret Josephs also got messy with her contacting her husband’s ex-wife
