Owning it! Real Housewives of Orange County star Emily Simpson admits to using Ozempic to kick-start her recent weight loss, but that’s not all the Bravoleb owns up to!
Just days after denying claims that she used Ozempic to lose weight, Emily Simspon confessed to using Ozempic and liposuction to shed excess weight while appearing on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live.
“I don’t know what happened. I think I just went for four months hard when we were filming, and I ate too much, drank too much, and just didn’t get enough sleep, didn’t exercise,” Emily shared, adding that she was feeling “really depressed” since she “gained weight.”
When Emily went to the doctor after filming wrapped for season 17 of RHOC, she learned she was pre-diabetic. During the appointment, the doctor suggested Emily try the diabetes-turned-weight loss drug Ozempic, which she agreed to do.
“So I did. I did that in December. For one month, and you know, that was a great kickstart for me,” she explained, noting that she lost five to seven pounds on Ozempic.
Ultimately, Emily stopped taking the medicine because it left her exhausted.
“I didn’t like the way it made me feel lethargic, and it made me just not have a lot of energy,” she admitted.
Then in January of this year, Emily went under the knife. The Bravoleb had a breast reduction along with liposuction on her arms, which she reveals “always bothered” her.
“Just the surgery alone was just, I felt like it was just a huge difference in my overall look just to have the thinner arms and just the smaller chest,” she shared. “And I was so happy with the surgery, and I have so much muscle underneath that when he did the liposuction, my arms were just jacked.”
It’s great to see Emily being honest, but I don’t believe she only took Ozempic for just one month. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s been taking it this whole time, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
Emily looks amazing, but she was beautiful before as well. Whatever makes her happy is great.
