RHONJ‘s Jackie Goldschneider is shutting down the rumor mill.
Last week a very interesting, yet unconfirmed, rumor about Jackie’s estrangement from her sister began circulating on social media.
According to a post on Twitter, Evan Goldschneider allegedly dated Jackie’s estranged sister first, in the 90s, before the now married Bravo couple began dating in the early 2000s.
“If everyone knew the truth about Jackie and Evan,” the post read. “I doubt Jackie would feel so entitled to judging other [people’s] families/marriages.”
“The cheating rumor is true,” the post continued. “But not just that. Jackie was Evan’s [second] choice.”
“Evan was dating HER SISTER first. It’s starting to make sense #RHONJ,” the post then alleged.
Now, Jackie is denying that there’s any truth to the gossip.
“While that sounds like a great story, it is sadly not true,” the RHONJ star said in a video on her Instagram Story on Saturday.
“If it were true, you would’ve known about it already because I’m completely open about my life, and because I don’t really think it’s that embarrassing of a story.”
Jackie explains that her sister “has been happily married since 1998” and she “met Evan in 2003,” which means that there is no way that her sister knew or dated Evan before they met in the early 2000s.
“If she dated him in the ’90s before I met him in 2003, I actually think that that would’ve been a pretty interesting story,” the Bravolebrity continued. “I’m also sure that there would’ve been some pictures or something, so I couldn’t even deny it, but sadly, it is not true.”
She added a GIF that read: “Sorry LOL” to the bottom of her video post.

Jackie mentioned in her video that if the rumor were true, she would have been open about it already because she is transparent about her life. She also expressed that it would have been an interesting story if her sister had dated Evan in the 90s, but there is no evidence or pictures to support the rumor.
