Setting the record straight!

Bravo fans were in a tizzy following Tuesday’s episode of RHONJ; however, it wasn’t drama from this week’s episode that raised eyebrows. Instead, it was a preview of next week’s episode that got fans talking.

In a teaser for next week’s episode of RHONJ, Teresa Giudice‘s now-husband Louie Ruelas told Joe Gorga that he sometimes wears their late father’s pajamas.

“I live with your four nieces,” Louie told Joe in the preview for the March 28 episode of RHONJ. “I wear your father’s pajamas at night to make them feel safe and loving, do you know that?”

Now just days later, Teresa is talking with PEOPLE to clear the air and stand up for her man.

According to Teresa, Louie “was definitely coming from an endearing place. I love him even more so for that.”

“Those were brand new … My dad had brand new clothes that he never used. And that was just a brand new pair of pajamas that I said, ‘Babe, these are new pajamas that my dad never used.’ … So I think it came out the wrong way,” Teresa explains.

She adds: “They were brand new pajamas that I just gave him. He had a lot of clothes that my dad did not wear, and I gave them away. So, for instance, that was the only thing I gave Luis was a pair of pajamas that my dad never used. They were, I think, Ralph Lauren that he never used. They weren’t his actual pajamas that my dad wore.”

Teresa notes that Louie wanted her brother’s “approval” and “love.”

“I know he was just coming from a loving place towards my brother. He wanted my brother’s approval,” she says. “He was like, poor guy. I feel bad for him. I know he was trying so hard to just wanting my brother, wanting to love my brother and vice versa. And he was just coming from a good place. And I see that. And that’s what makes me love him even more because he’s been nothing but amazing to me and my daughters,” the mom of four says.

Joe and Teresa’s father, Giacinto Gorga, passed away in April 2020, three years after his wife, Antonia Gorga, passed away.

RHONJ airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm on Bravo.

So if Teresa's version is correct - that they were brand new designer PJs never worn by her father - then all that proves is that Luis lied about the reasons he was wearing them. Why would a brand new pair of PJs make her daughters feel safe???? It's all BS. Luis was trying to get a reaction from Joey and also make himself look the a hero.

Regardless of whether the father wore them or not, it was a bizarre comment to make, and a more bizarre action to take. Why on earth would his stepdaughters feel safer with him wearing those pjs? And why would Joe feel closer to Ewie with him wearing them? Teresa is pulling words out of her ass to protect this crazy weirdo she married.

I was like what in the hell did this guy just say, and anyone in their right mind would not do that , and he tells Joe that, I said this from day one louie is not right in the head, I don't care how zen he is , there is something not right with him, anyway I am all gorga anyway, Theresa is just blind about everything, and she knows she is the goat, but what goes around comes around. How about him going to ask Melissa mother to come to the wedding, that is crazy, those people r so nice,Tre is going to bring something up that happened 10 years ago, she had to think of something not to look like a jerk ,for not asking Melissa to stand up, I am all about Joe , I think I would of by now had enough.

I knew from the first time they showed him last season that he was using her. He is even worse than I initially thought based on how he portrays himself. She doesn't get that he is humiliating her when he attempts to train her on camera and that started last season! I really hope when it implodes, teresa and him both go down. The bad thing is teresa will go running back to joe but maybe by then they'll both be off reality TV and he can tell her to leave him alone.

Sorry. You can try to spin that all you want to but the bottom line is that it was weird and cringe worthy. It's not that weird that if someone had brand new clothes and they passed that they would be given to someone but to say he is wearing them for her daughters is just plain bizarre.

Doesn't matter if they were new or not. This is at least the second time now that he's tried to trigger Joe by reminding him that he lives with his 4 nieces. That was not coming from a place of wanting approval. He's marking his territory.

How many times has Joe told Louie "you don't know my sister and nieces like I do"? How many times has Louie tried to unite this family? Trigger Joe? That's laughable. Joe does not care about his sister or his nieces, he has proven that time and time again. He is hot headed when he doesn't get his way, he screams when he wants to intimidate people, he bangs tables over and over again. And has been a professional victim for way too long.

Definitely cringe worthy, lol. I would be curious though to hear what the Guidice girls have to say about it and whether or not they thought it was sweet and comforting or creepy and weird. In the end, it's really only what they think that matters.

The girls have been conned in to thinking that this guy is their moms saviour. That they can go off to college without fear of her being alone. It happens all the time - young adult kids turn a blind eye to a lot because they want their parent to be happy. Plus they have had years of hearing Teresa badmouth her SIL and brother. They were ripe for picking by Luis.

Not weird at all. Many people find brand new clothes their loved ones had purchased but never worn. So when you find someone who is the same size you ask if they want them.

My mom passed away a year & a half ago. She had a thing for shoes, all name brand, barely, if at all worn, wore a size 6. Too small for me, I have a friend, same size, look them over, she got first pick, the rest got donated. I don't think she walks around going these are my friends, dead mom's shoes. I don't think anything is wrong with it, but I do question why Louie would say that to Joey.

Of course. I wear the pants I bought for my dad his last father's day around the house or to do work. I gained weight and they fit so I might as well. Maybe it is comforting for me, but I think it just because I don't want to buy new fat pants. Ha. Luis is not who he thinks he is and is full of ulterior, deceptive, potentially dangerous motives. He couldn't hide his true colors from the women he had admittedly "toxic relationships" with in the more recent past nor many of the viewers that have been watching him. His first wife didn't bad mouth him because he is the father of her two children but I bet she has a lot to tell.

That isn't weird. Talking about it on national TV is weird. Talking about it and saying it is because you want four girls to "feel safe and loved" or whatever on national TV is a huge red flag...!!. This on top of everything else he has shown makes it obvious he is mentally messed up at worst and just a con at least.

He said it so no twisting involved! It would be nothing if they were unworn if he or teresa chose not to donate or throw away. It would be nothing if they were slightly worn yet he liked them and wanted them. The "something" was bringing it up on national TV. An even worse something was when he said he wore them to make the girls feel safe and loved on national TV! !!. Even worse than that was saying it to put down those girls' "Dear Joe" and/or in defense of his actions on national TV. Just more evidence he is probably or maybe a dangerous man, not to be trusted without any doubts, IMO.
