Joe Gorga’s Family Dynamics: Unveiling the Truth Behind Melissa’s Journey

Joe Gorga, Melissa and Teresa Giudice

Ten years after joining the Real Housewives of New Jersey Joe Gorga now claims that his wife Melissa Gorga was given a hard time by every member of his family when she fired came onto the scene. According to Joe, his sister Teresa Giudice as well their now deceased parents, Antonia and Giacinto Gorga were “rough” on Melissa. “My mother was rough on her, my dad was rough on her,” Joe said on Friday during a live taping of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. He then sarcastically added, “and my sister was great!” Naturally, Joe praised Melissa for how she handled the whole ordeal. “She’s a good woman and then she married into an old-school Italian family and she took a beating — she did,” Joe declared. “And that’s why I respect her and love her because you know what, she’s the best,” he noted. Joe and Melissa have been married since 2004 and share three children: Antonia, 17, Gino, 15, and Joey, 12. Meanwhile, Joe and Melissa also revealed the secret to keeping their nineteen year marriage happy and healthy. “I mean, you got to do it,” Joe said, alluding that sex is the secret to his and Melissa’s happy marriage. “Listen, if you don’t do it, you walk around and you become roommates. I don’t want a roommate that costs me a lot of money.” “What happens is when you do it, then you walk downstairs the next day … and you touch each other. But if you don’t, you’re like ‘Hey how you doing? Did you pay that bill?’” Despite the couple’s current spicy sex life, Melissa says they didn’t have sex during the first three months of their romance. “I took her out … I wanted her so bad but I wouldn’t touch her,” her husband explained. “I played with her. I would have her come over and I would give her a little kiss.” He continued, “I wanted to touch her … I wanted to go to second base so bad but then I said ‘go home.’” However, when they finally did the deed it was “fireworks.” As for their biggest turnoffs, Melissa said “chewing with food in his mouth” while Joe said when his wife “says no to sex.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST.

Totally get where he's coming from. Been witness to those old school Italian NY families my whole life. If one of the parents doesn't like you for whatever reason, you are put through the ringer. And Joe's not talking bad about his parents, these are facts on how Melissa's been treated. And Teresa, ever envious of anyone who takes away any of her attention, was probably sickeningly sweet to her face and horrible to her behind her back.

Last week the felonious foreheadless wonder revealed that her father was a tyrant who liked to throw things around when he got angry and now this from Joe. Can't say I am shocked, because Nonno came across as a mean and perverted man. I believe both Joe and the felon are obsessed with sex and prone to violence due to the way they were raised.

Little Joey is something special. A real bitch boy disrespecting his dead parents. Trying to get a rise out of Teresa. What a tool.

Tre already said that her brother got engaged very fast. And she was his 3rd fiancé. So yeah, she and the parents were concerned.

Of course and that is what he said. Meanwhile on TV, his sister declared her negative, aggressive behavior was from her father although she didn't detail if she thought it was inherited or learned.

Can’t believe all of this this is being dug up again. Do they not realize how much of this is on camera /tape, Joe, the Christening for one when Melissa goes up to Teresa and says hello to Teresa holding baby Adrianna and they chat but then only moments later when Teresa and Gia walk up to say hello in reverse to Joe and Melissa and their Baby, Joe turns into a raging bull and loses his mind for the camera. It is this kind of scene for the cameras that upset the parents, Joe, fighting for the cameras and it was all on film. The jealousy to the parents was bound to come out at some point again but so sad to attack parents who can not even defend themselves. The Gorga parents never shied away from calling out bad behavior and had their son’s number at times and Teresa too. They always seemed fair to both. Amongst the disputes, which the parents really did not like, Joe Gorga was never good of being called out, let’s be real, and he still isn’t to do this day. He never takes any responsibility. Honestly Teresa is not good with it either and that is why they never should have worked Together. If they had a great relationship, then they could have worked together no problem. But Joe and Melissa knew they were arguing and fighting with Teresa and yet they still came on the show knowing that is what they were going to show the country, a family who fights. The parents did not want that so that is why they were upset. Joe is lying presenting it any other way, except wanting the fame and the money for himself.

Blew my mind reading him talking like that about his parents. He is disgusting.

Did you see the first episode of RHNJ? Teresa was far more specific than that blaming some of her bad behavior on the father with examples.
alice February 15, 2023 - 2:41 pm
Blaming her behavior for what she grew up with is absolutely not the same as what Joe just said. We watched how he treated his parents on the show, and Tre begging him to visit more. Now they are gone and he is bashing them. Mind blowing bc he NEVER said anything like that when they were alive.

No it is much worse. She is blaming her faults on her father. Joe just stated that all three of them gave his wife a hard time in the beginning. So what? If I said my parents were rough on my boyfriend because they wanted to make sure he was right for me, that would be implying they cared about me. Of course, if they kept it up after marriage then that is something else and disrespectful of them. However just to flat out portray my father as having hissy fits on TV and blame my violent aggressive behavior on my father is terrible because it can't even be proven for one thing. Is she implying she inherited the bad behavior or learned it? Melissa was a witness to what Joe said. Regardless, most would consider disparaging their parents at all after they died on TV disrespectful. Doing in on TV might be considered far worse than stating something for an article, too.
