Melissa Gorga Slams Chanel Ayan For Dissing Her in RHODubai Video

RHONJ’s Melissa Gorga fired back at Chanel Ayan after she dissed her in a promo video for season 2 of RHODubai! Get all the tea!

In a promo teaser for season 2 of RHODubai, which will premiere on Sunday, June 2 at 9/8c on Bravo, Chanel Ayan and her co-stars described the newest member of their cast, Taleen Marie.

“She reminds me of Melissa Gorga. So she is to be watched,” Chanel said of Taleen in the Instagram promo clip from Bravo TV.

As the clip made its way around social media, natually, Melissa Gorga caught wind of it and decided to publicly call out the RHODubai star for always talking about her. *insert eyeroll*

“Wait what? Why does this woman always have my name in her mouth?” the Real Housewives of New Jersey star said in a comment, screenshotted and shared by Everything Housewives on Instagram.

In second comment the 45-year-old said: “MeLISSA GORRRRGGAAAAAA let’s get it right girlfriend.”

Of course, Bravo fans had quite a bit to say about Chanel’s shade and Melissa’s clap back.

“Wooooo Chanel is a shady palm tree out in that desert of gold,” one fan commented.

“Melissa has never been more happy to get a little attention. For years she’s just been an extra in a cast of stars. She’s nothing but filler material,” a second fan wrote.

A third fan commented, “Melissa, you’d walk away crying after Chanel was done with you.”

“Chanel is friends with Teresa and obv that was a dig at Melissa,” someone else noted.

“Melissa really be acting she’s that “girl” and she’s NOT,” a fifth fan wrote while another added: “Chanel is gonna destroy her.”

Another fan commented: “Melissa is reaching and looking to get dragged in order to stay relevant.”

As Bravo fans may know, Chanel is friends with Melissa’s estranged sister-in-law Teresa Giudice. The RHODubai star attended Teresa’s August 2022 wedding to Louie Ruelas.

Melissa and Teresa are currently not on speaking terms and did not interact AT ALL while filming the upcoming season of RHONJ. Their fued has led to a major fracture in the RHONJ cast which Andy Cohen has said is unsustainable moving forward, which means a major casting shakeup is likely coming for season 15 of the franchise.

Season 14 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey premieres Sunday, May 5 at 8 p.m. ET.

The Real Housewives of Dubai premieres on Sunday, June 2 at 9/8c on Bravo. Then on Tuesday, June 11, RHODubai will move to its regular timeslot on Tuesdays at 9/8c.

Unattractive inside, too, based on the show (what I watched). She is from Africa and talked about being mutilated as a kid because of her father and a barbaric custom to keep the girls virgins. It is outrageous to think that happened not all that long ago as a routine thing. Then he tried to sell her off as a wife at 14. So she may be a little broken.

I’ve never read anything that Chanel has said that was a diss to Melissa, maybe I’ve missed something, but honestly I haven’t. That comment that she made with this. I really don’t consider it a diss.?????. I mean so what , she friends with Teresa, the comment wasn’t mean, in my opinion. My opinion, Melissa over reacted. If it were me, if I felt the need to comment back to this comment Chanel made. Id “say that’s right, watch me how about that?!”

I watched the show a little and didn't like it nor her (or any of them more or less). Chanel is unique and shared something awful that happened to her when she was a child. However I've never read anything about her on tabloid sites. My guess is they might have some Instagram thing going and both are just trying to get attention for both their shows. Either that or perhaps Chanel took going to Teresa's wedding too seriously?

The Teresa fanatics/trolls do here on occasion! For example, people like Teej and Marce, etc, etc. They call her Whorga and all kinds of childish names. Yeah, she's ditzy, vain and so on but I think the reason she's lasted (other than being Teresa's target) is because bravo wants to keep her husband. Most people probably don't care if she stays or goes but they have wanted that trashy Teresa gone since probably her 4th season, IMO. Then there's the fact that the owner stated around Christmas that of all the Housewives shows and of all the people still on them, she'd vote for getting rid of Melissa above all the rest.

I love Dubai and can't wait for it to return. I started watching it because I really liked Ladies of London with Caroline Stanbury. I have no idea why that show was cancelled because it was so good. Chanel is a big personality with outrageous style. Her back story is interesting too. She is definitely someone who brings it and doesn't hold back. Can't wait for it to start.

News flash Messy FameWhorga: Chanel is the face of Dubai and is considered the break out star AFTER ONE SEASON! Just like Teresa FYI. Meanwhile, Messy is 12 seasons in and doesn’t have jack shit to show for it except lawsuits, mounting debts, and secondhand embarrassment from her morally corrupt husband. Messy’s only memorable (not iconic) moments involve her failed attempts to take down Teresa and 12 seasons later she is no closer to achieving that goal. Lol

I think she has a great body and I wish I had it too, lol. But I thought the article and Chanel’s shade was about her devious personality, not her looks. Whenever I hear about Dubai, Chanel is the one that pops in my head just like Teresa for Jersey, Kyle for BH, etc. I mean, Bravo cropped out Messy and Bravolover1234 in some of the S14 promos in favor of keeping Teresa visible. And they’re selling Teresa themed merchandise on their website. I don’t see Bravo promoting merch from the other Jersey housewives. *shrug*
