What Led to Lisa Rinna’s Shocking Exit from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?
Former Beverly Hills Housewife Teddi Mellencamp finally addresses Lisa Rinna’s shocking exit from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
On the January 6 episode of Teddi and Tamra Judge’s Two T’s in a Pod podcast, the All-In accountability coach opened up about her good friend exiting the Beverly Hills Housewives franchise after eight seasons.
“I am sad that this happened,” Teddi confessed. “I feel like we don’t know the full extent of what happened, but I do know she’s given us great television for a lot of years and some of the moments that will live in Houswives forever, and Twitter won.”
According to Teddi, Rinna played a critical role in the show and was involved in the drama from the get-go.
“She’s a loose canon, which is what you wanna watch,” Teddi quipped.
“I wonder if partially thought she started doing it to herself,” Teddi said, adding, “Remember when all the stuff was taken off social media, and she blocked all the bloggers? [But] I can understand needing to block yourself from that noise.”
Teddi then switched focus to Lisa Vanderpump, admitting that LVP’s shade on Twitter “pissed” her off.
“What really pissed me off more than anything last night was this tweet. First off, that’s what everybody said when she was gone,” Teddi said.
She added, “And the reason she doesn’t have any actual real friendships cares that can be sustained is because she cares more about ‘likes’ on Twitter than she does about people.”
Meanwhile, Teddi did agree with Rinna’s comment that Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais will need to “show up and work” on RHOBH amid her absence.
“Some of the other girls on that show need to be shaking in their boots because the fact of having to do that dirty work and stir it when everybody else is trying to be everybody’s favorite is not a fun job,” Teddi noted.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return for season 13 in 2023.
