What are your thoughts on Andy Cohen’s feud with Snooki and her potential role on Real Housewives of New Jersey?
On Monday’s episode of SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live,” the Watch What Happens Live host revealed why Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi will never join the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast as he settled his long-running beef with the Jersey Shore star. The feud between Andy and Snooki came to light last year when the Real Housewives executive producer made it known that he will NOT be casting Snooki on RHONJ. “You were just a little sarcastic, so I had to come back,” Snooki quipped alongside her Jersey Shore co-stars Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Vinny Guadagnino.“I said, ‘I don’t see it.’ Right. I was like, ‘I don’t see it at all. Ever,’” Andy explained of her joining the Garden State Housewives franchise. “Now here’s why I said it: I view you as, like, one of the faces of MTV and the face of ‘Jersey Shore.’”
“And so, to me, it’s like putting Mickey Mouse in a Bugs Bunny cartoon,” he added. “It’s too different. You know what I mean?”
Snooki admitted that she was “not mad” at Andy over his comment but confessed that his tone was what rubbed her the wrong way. “I just didn’t like your little, ‘Nah, I’m good,’” she confessed, to which Andy replied, “That’s where I take it too far.” The two later confirmed that they “are not [at] war” any longer. In September 2020, rumors of Snooki joining RHONJ started swirling around social media and gossip outlets alike due to her budding friendship with RHONJ star Melissa Gorga. Despite the rumors, Snooki made it clear that she was not interested in joining the Real Housewives as she “hates drama.” “I’m, like, terrified because some of those girls … they get into it,” she told Page Six in December 2021. “Even though I’m on a reality show, I hate drama. I like positivity, and I like just having a good time and going home.
