Jennifer Aydin is sharing her two cents on the recent drama between her Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa Giudice and Joe and Melissa Gorga.
The mom of five admits that the drama between Teresa and the Gorgas was just as surprising to her as it was to Bravo fans.
Nearly a month after Melissa and Joe chose to skip Teresa’s August 6 wedding to Louie Ruelas, Jennifer is addressing the “unfortunate situation” while chatting with Access Hollywood‘s “Housewives Nightcap.”
“Everything just happened so fast, and you’re gonna see it all unfold on the show,” Jennifer teased of the drama to playout between the Giudice/Gorga family on season 13 of RHONJ.
“It’s a very unfortunate situation. I just know that at the end of the day, Teresa had a very happy day and everybody who was there and stayed till the end of the night were people who really were rooting for her,” she continued. “Listen, every family’s got drama. Every family’s got their thing. You just hope that they find a way to work it out somehow, whatever that happens to be for them.”
As for the family mending fences, Jennifer admits she’s unsure Teresa has any interest in reconciling with her brother. However, Jennifer acknowledges that she believes “part of [Teresa]” felt sad that Melissa and Joe didn’t attend her wedding.
“There’s some sadness to that [but] I really don’t wanna say anything about it,” Jennifer shared. “Plus, you are gonna see it on the show.”
When it comes to season 13 of RHONJ as a whole, Jennifer said it’s a “very funny season,” before adding that there is “drama” mixed with “fun too.” She also confirmed that Bravo fans will “see Teresa get married” at the end of the season.
“What better way to end the season than seeing a happy ending?” she noted.
She also revealed that Teresa has no plans to change her last name.
“She’s Teresa Giudice. And her kids are Giudice, remember that. Teresa’s driving force is always her children, first and foremost, so she’s Giudice,” Jennifer stated.
RHONJ will return for season 13 in early 2023.
