Lisa Rinna and Kathy Hilton may have been all smiles at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, but according to Teddi Mellencamp, there was some backstage drama between the two.
This comes on the heels of both reality TV stars being accused of working with a private marketing manager, Patrick Somers, to perpetuate smear campaigns about each other. At first, Patrick allegedly implicated Kathy Hilton as the person who paid him to threaten Lisa. The hope was that the threat would stop Lisa from continuing to call out Kathy for the alleged slurs she made in Aspen.
Patrick later changed his story and claimed he was allegedly working with Lisa on a smear campaign against Kathy. So, what’s the truth? No one knows. Only time will tell.
The drama was discussed on the June 7th episode of Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge’s Two T’s in a Pod podcast. Teddi spilled the tea on Kathy and Lisa’s drama at the MTV Movie and TV Awards. She also shared her thoughts on the Patrick Somers drama.
“The Beverly Hills cast was a little split up,” Teddi shared. “Not all of them sat down prior to presenting.”
Teddi explains that when the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finished presenting, they sat at a table with cast members Rob and Crystal Minkoff.
“Rinna sits down at that table. She’s told by her PR person or whomever it is,’ Sit there.’ [Next] I see Erika start to walk to the same spot, and then Kathy came and sat down next to Rinna,” Teddi continued.
This is when the behind-the-scenes drama kicked off.
“Rinna got up and left. Then Kathy walks over to [Paris Hilton] ’s table, where [Bethenny Frankel] is, and then proceeds to use a hand fan the entire awards,” Teddi revealed.
As for the Patrick Somers of it, all Teddi said, “I truly believe neither of these women know this person.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm on Bravo.
