Erika Jayne Refuses To Give Up Glam Squad Despite Financial and Legal Woes

Erika Jayne’s life has changed quite a bit over the last two years.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star walked away from her $10 Pasadena mansion, her luxury cars, and more amid her split from estranged husband, Tom Girardi.

On top of this, Erika and Tom have faced significant changes in their finances as they are embroiled in Tom’s various legal battles.

However, one thing Erika isn’t giving up is her $40k a month glam squad. On the latest episode of RHOBH, the Pretty Mess singer defended bringing her hair and makeup team to Mexico amid her financial issues.

“You can downsize, and we’ve downsized. Certain things you don’t downsize on, and that’s your glam,” Erika explained in her confessional interview.

Erika then compared her choices to people who chose to have extensive families.

“Fashion, hair, makeup – to me, it’s art. Living art, and I enjoy that. And it shouldn’t be judged any other way. Nobody judges if people wanna have big families. I wanna buy a bunch of clothes,” Erika explained.

While Erika’s completely #TeamGladSquad, her co-star Crystal Minkoff sees the extra expense as completely unnecessary and a major waste of money.

“I don’t even want to pay for my own hotel room,”  she said. “I’m not trying to pay for other peoples and their flights and their food and paying them. I can just put on some lip gloss, and I’m good. I would just never go out with glam; why spend the money? It’s ridiculous!”
