Jenna Lyons Spotted Filming for Season 15 of RHONY

Ubah Hassan accuses RHONY co-star Jenna Lyons of playing a "victim" on TV.

Just like spring, filming for season 15 of RHONY is in full bloom as Shannon Beador’s daughter spots Jenna Lyons filming in NYC.

On Wednesday, April 10, Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador shared that her daughter, Adeline Beador, who goes to college in New York City, caught a glimpse of Jenna Lyons filming for season 15 of the Real Housewives of New York.

“When your daughter goes to school in NYC and walks by RHONY filming…” Shannon wrote alongside clip shared on her Instagram Stories.

The clip featured Jenna Lyons filming a lunch scene with an unidentified woman, who very well could have been another member of the Real Housewives of New York cast.

Jenna’s lunch date was obscured from view by production members who were holding up a light diffuser for the cameraman.

This all comes just weeks after Bravo revealed that they had given season 15 of RHONY the greenlight.

On March 29, Bravo announced that Jenna Lyons, Jessel TaankSai De SilvaUbah HassanErin Lichy, and Brynn Whitfield would all be returning for season 15.

All six ladies helped reboot the New York Housewives franchise with season 14 last summer after a two-year hiatus.

Season 14 wrapped in October 2023 with many fans wondering if Bravo would keep the same cast for season 15. There was also concern that Jenna Lyons would jump ship as she was vocal about being uncomfortable doing reality TV.

While Jenna Lyons admitted on Watch What Happens Live in October 2023 that season 14 as a whole washer “thorn” of the season.

“It was hard! It’s shocking how when the camera’s actually on you … I thought I could handle it, and, you know, I couldn’t.”

She then skipped BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas which only further fueled speculation that Jenna was done with Real Housewives.

However, she did, in fact, sign up for a second season of the Real Housewives of New York, although with several caveats.

In March, Jenna told The New York Times that she made it clear to Bravo that she’s keeping her loved ones, including her girlfriend, Cass Bird, off camera.

“I have a relationship, but I would like to not name her,” the former executive creative director of J.Crew said. “I want to keep her out of the press. That is my commitment to her. It’s off the table. I joined this process. She did not.”

Naturally, Bravo fans and Jenna’s co-stars may not be happy with her lack of transparency. Last season, she was called to task for not opening up enough.

Still, Jenna is ready and waiting for the pushback from her co-stars but tells the Times“I don’t care what anybody else says.”

While the Real Housewives of New York cast may have an issue with Jenna’s aforementioned boundaries, she says producers have been “very amenable” and “very open to reducing that exposure.”

“Testing the waters of what you can say ‘no’ to is just something you have to do,” she said.

The Real Housewives of New York will return to Bravo for season 15 in late to mid-2024.

I don't watch it but I've read some. This one seems to be a fan favorite and is also one that supposedly bravo went to great lengths to hire in the first place and also to keep! She doesn't have a lot of obvious fakeness appearance-wise and doesn't wear costumes but seems to be popular without being mean or running the narrative. ? So when will bravo wise-up and realize people are sick of the Kyle Richards and Teresa Giudice types being in the majority?
