RHUGT Morocco Footage ‘Temporarily Restricted’ by Court

Brandi Glanville opens up about RHUGT drama with Caroline Manzo

RHUGT footage detailing incident between Caroline Manzo and Brandi Glanville gets “temporarily restricted” by court. Get all the deets!

Page Six reports that the RHUGT footage that shows the incident between Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo in Morocco has been “temporarily restricted” by a New York court.

RHUGT executive producer Lisa Shannon submitted the videos to the court last week in order to have Caroline Manzo’s lawsuit thrown out. However, she also requested that the clips be sealed from the public.

While the footage pertaining to the incident cannot be viewed, in her filing Shannon notes that the footage details “the incident at issue in the complaint, Manzo’s perceptions of it, the other cast member’s perceptions of it and the aftermath” of the encounter between the Real Housewives of New Jersey OG and Brandi Glanville in which Caroline alleges that Brandi forced her tongue down her throat and humped her without prior consent.

In court documents, Shannon also insisted that Caroline Manzo told RHUGT producers that she felt “disrespected” by Brandi Glanville but said the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum did not “sexually violate” her.

“Our primary concern at that point was making sure that Manzo felt safe,” read the documents. “She told us that she felt safe, that she wanted to continue to film, and that she did not want Glanville to be sent home.”

Fellow RHUGT stars including Phaedra Parks all purported that everyone in the cast was “having fun” and that no one was aware that Caroline had been sexually abused as a child which affected her response to Brandi’s behavior.

“Am I happy? No. Do I feel vindicated? No. IM F–KING MORE PISSED THAN EVER,” Brandi tweeted on Thursday following Bravo’s response to Caroline’s lawsuit.

“What these producers do to make a tv show is disgraceful & disgusting. I begged for them to intervene. I almost died. It took a lawsuit… I’m not ok.”

Brandi has repeatedly called Caroline’s “false” sexual harassment claims “absurd” since filming RHUGT in Morocco over a year ago.

“While filming, Brandi followed what the producers asked of her, and there was no sexual assault,” Brandi’s rep told Page Six in January after the RHONJ alum filed her lawsuit.

“She is innocent of these absurd accusations that have weighed on her mental and physical health for far too long without a word of support from Peacock, Shed or Bravo.”

It’s still unclear if Bravo will air the Morocco installment of RHUGT. Some have claimed that Bravo has tabled airing the season while others insist no official decisions have been made.

This is the one piece/spinoff of The Real Housewives that I have never watched. I really hope they release this one so I can finally see what the heck all of this craziness is about!!!

First of all, we all know that Brandi is a sloppy drunk who always takes things too far (but that's why they continue to hire her), and even though Caroline's case is just a money grab, I still hope both she (and Brandi) make a killing. Incidentally, the fact that Caroline isn't even suing the alleged perpetrator makes me wonder if they aren't in on this together. https://media1.giphy.com/media/mG1VkAdMzqXFpT4F7P/giphy-downsized-small.mp4

? Ain’t that the truth…???

I don't trust that Bravo submitted ALL of the footage or that what they submitted was not doctored. The Court will need to determine this. But this is typical of how these type of cases are handled. The victim is attacked and attempts are made to discredit him/her. And the perpetrator is portrayed as the victim.

Of course not. They had close to a year to work on it. Editing massive amounts of film is what they do. Bottom line, it makes no sense it got this far for some petty reason or for money. It really needs to go to trial. It is the only lawsuit against bravo that is legit, IMO. The only question is are they responsible for hiring Brandi knowing she has a propensity to make the workplace unsafe for others. One thing to note, IMO, is Caroline hadn't even been on a reality show for years. More importantly, there is no reason for her to have any idea how physically aggressive, sometimes sexually, Brandi was even on camera. (She could have at least prepared herself how to react.) Her past experience was only having to worry about Giudice throwing something at her, not pinning her down, kissing her (gag) or groping!

Oh, lookie, lookie, chocolate chip cookie ?! Yet MORE evidence of what I have been saying all along that Caroline’s story doesn’t pass the sniff test and the real motive behind this is to ensure the footage that Caroline doesn’t want out there never airs. I’ll hand it to her, she’s one step closer to her goal. I know she’s hoping that Bravo will throw in the towel with the multiple lawsuits against them (convenient, ain’t it?) and cash out to boot (which might happen cuz lol they done stepped in it), but here we are watching a bs narrative (sacred as it may be to the indoctrinated) fall apart. Now cue the meltdowns… ? https://media1.giphy.com/media/l0HUanVycd4RukheU/giphy-downsized-small.mp4

If there is no issue then why did the producer ask for the footage not be shown? It won't ruin the show (if they are able to put it on TV) in my opinion. https://media4.giphy.com/media/MsWnkCVSXz73i/giphy-downsized-small.mp4

If they are incriminating why would she submit them in order to have Caroline’s lawsuit dismissed? ????
Steve April 8, 2024 - 3:35 pm
If the Court wanted the footage, they had to submit it. If they did this on their own, it raises the question of whether what they submitted was cherry-picked to put Bravo in the best light. Simply because what Bravo chose to submit is not incriminating does not mean Bravo does not have film that is incriminating.

Except this was a motion to DISMISS Caroline’s lawsuit. They would not submit evidence that incriminates them as their cause for dismissal. The judge may or may not dismiss the lawsuit based on that evidence but Bravo’s legal counsel seems to think the evidence is compelling enough to warrant dismissal. ???? If the judge doesn’t agree, it’s likely going to trial unless some sort of settlement is reached or if Caroline drops her suit. There is nothing to be made of the request for the evidence to remain sealed. That’s likely standard. Bravo owns that footage and wants to maintain control over it including when or if it airs publicly which will happen if their motion is granted. If it’s not, they want to maintain control in case they win the law suit. Simple as that. The judge may or may not grant that request. ????

There was a big issue since it ended up being bravo sued and never airing it for close to a year before she sued for continuing to hire Brandi. They've had several months, closer to a year, to carefully edit out whatever they want since that is their business. Of course it was already edited considerably before they planned to air it last year. This case against them is the only legit one IMO. My only problem all along with bravo has been continuing to employ people who are too physically aggressive or reckless and force other employees to work with them. I realize their business is exploitation but I can't remember going to work and worrying about someone groping, kissing and pinning me down! Caroline had no reason to know and be prepared for what Brandi was capable of.
