Bethenny Frankel slams Dorit Kemsley for exposing private text message from Kyle Richards; calls the move “a violation.”

Bethenny Frankel is calling out Dorit Kemsley for publicly exposing the private text message Kyle Richards sent her before filming the RHOBH season 13 reunion.

“Wow, Bethenny, wow. I cannot believe a private, personal, emotional, heartfelt, guttural text from Kyle to a friend off-camera when not working, when not filming, was aired. What a violation!” the Real Housewives of New York City alum said in a TikTok video on Sunday.

The Skinnygirl mogul said she could “not imagine what that would feel like” to learn that her good friend let Bravo display her private text message.

“Then imagine you’re thinking like, ‘Oh my God, what else have I texted that person? Like, where are the other monsters?’” she said, arguing that text messages between friends and co-stars should be a “private space.”

Bethenny Frankel notes that she can’t imagine sending a text message and living with the fear that it will be shared on a public forum.

“When you’re working, you’re working, and that’s vile enough. But when you’re not working and you’re off the clock, are they also going to own your thoughts? That’s a private text. That’s insane! And Kyle is their favorite — imagine how they treat their least favorites, whoa,” she concluded.

Naturally, Bravo fans had a mixed reaction to Bethenny’s take.

“It wasn’t some heart-wrenching text about her marriage. It was a text to save her a** after deserting her friendship that Dorit thought was a close one,” one fan commented.

“Showing reality on a reality show! How dare they!” someone else added.

“I mean…. Isn’t it common for housewives to bring literal binders of text messages and ‘receipts’ at the reunion?” another fan chimed in.

“Text was brought up, on camera, at the reunion taping…fair game?” one more fan pointed out.

However, others called Dorit “nasty” for allowing Bravo to use Kyle’s text message.

“That was classless. Dorit showed her true colors,” one person argued.

“Dorit will do anything for a storyline. She’s become boring,” another fan commented.

As AllAboutTRH previously reported, during part one of the upcoming RHOBH season 13 reunion, Dorit Kemsley exposes Kyle Richards‘ lengthy, “manipulative” text message.

“There’s stuff with Kyle and I that’s going on and it hurts and bothers me the most,” Dorit told RHOBH co-star Erika Jayne in a preview for part one of the season 13 reunion. “I haven’t heard from her in a couple of months. Then, she sends me a text yesterday, basically trying to silence me. It was so manipulative, it was so calculated.”

The very long text message then appears on the screen. The text message starts off with Kyle admitting that she’s been “trying to reach out” as it “bothers” her that they’re in a “weird place” since filming for season 13 wrapped.

Kyle then told Dorit that she loves her, her husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, and their kids, Phoenix and Jagger, and doesn’t want to “lose someone else in [her] life over a TV show.”

“They don’t even know we are going through a hard time, so I don’t see the need to bring it up there,” Kyle noted. “I should have said something sooner, but I honestly haven’t been strong enough. But relationships and YOU are more important to me than RHOBH.”

The OG concludes her message by asking Dorit if she’d like to meet and talk, adding that she’s unsure how much longer she can handle being on RHOBH.

Dorit felt Kyle’s text was “manipulative” and was sent hoping to silence her at the reunion. However, Dorit notes that “fair is fair” and that she has no problem discussing her issues with Kyle at the reunion.

Part one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 reunion airs Feb. 28. at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
