RHOBH: Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s Split ‘Final’ But Neither Wants to Officially Divorce

In RHOBH finale, Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have a family meeting with their daughters after news of their separation breaks.

A new report reveals that RHOBH couple Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are nowhere closer to divorcing despite being separated for more than six months.

“Neither of them wants to pull the trigger [and file for divorce],” an insider tells Us Weekly.

The source notes that the RHOBH duo’s hesitancy doesn’t have anything to do with money as they do not have a prenup.

“They don’t have a prenup, so Kyle will be getting half of everything, but that doesn’t bother Mauricio.”

While Kyle and Mauricio haven’t filed for divorce yet their is very little chance of them reconciling.

“It feels so final,” the insider admits, adding that the two are “in an OK place” despite their separation.

“They share space, and it’s working for them now,” the source said.

As fans know, Kyle and Mauricio’s marital woes came to a head on Wednesday’s RHOBH season 13 finale episode.

The RHOBH OG admitted that she doesn’t have much hope for the future of her marriage.

“I’ve come to realize that, you know, there’s a big chance that we’re not gonna end up together,” she said in her RHOBH confessional.

When asked by a producer what happened in her marriage, Kyle revealed that she “lost trust” in Mauricio.

“There were things that happened that made me lose my trust that I wasn’t able to recover from,” Kyle said in her final confession of the season. “I just want to be at peace wherever I’m at because I haven’t really had that. Am I done? It’s over.”

RHOBH fans can expect to get more insight into Kyle and Mauricio’s split and plans for the future a the upcoming season 13 reunion.

In a preview for the season 13 reunion, Kyle addresses questions about divorce and either her or Mauricio moving out of their Encino mansion, where they both continue to live despite their split.

Kyle and Mauricio confirmed their split in September 2023 after news of their separation made waves in the Bravoverse following a July report from PEOPLE.

The RHOBH couple wed in 1996. They share daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Mauricio is also stepfather to Kyle’s daughter Farrah Aldjufrie, 34, from her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.

Part one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 reunion airs Feb. 28. at 8 p.m. on Bravo.

The lack of a pre-nup is irrelevant. She was richer than him when they met and they built their success together. The should both get half of everything combined.

Everyone read the entire text Kyle sent Dorit by pausing the video. Kyle is completely unhinged and trying to gas-lit Dorit. Remember when she accused LVP about her being manipulative and playing chess, well now the truth is out thanks to Dorit who isn’t going away quietly.

Good call! He was dealing with many huge court cases at the time. I assumed it was cheating, but you are correct, it could have been a legal issues which is worse and could have frightened her after seeing what Teresa and Erika have gone thru. It could have been so serious to spur a separation. It could also explain why she hasn’t talked about the reason why.

Apparently Kyle wants to air all of this in public -- play the victim and make Mauricio the villain. She will do anything to get attention. Shame on her!

Team Mo. Kyle wants so hard to spin this as the cheated on spouse. She and her female "friend" all over each other is all I've seen. And all her kids have seen. Yuck
