RHOBH’s Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky Do NOT Have a Prenup Amid $100M Fortune

RHOBH's Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky

RHOBH’s Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky do NOT have a prenup despite their $100M fortune. Get all the details!

If Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky officially divorce one day, they will have quite a lot to work through as the RHOBH couple does NOT have a prenup despite their vast fortune.

Mauricio has a fortune of $100M thanks to his real estate empire. Since founding The Agency in 2011, Mauricio has sold almost $5 billion in luxury properties.

The Buying Beverly Hills star got into real estate thanks to his wife, Kyle Richards. After marrying the now-RHOBH star in 1996, Mauricio left his career in fashion to get his feet wet in the real estate market. Mauricio began working at his brother-in-law Rick Hilton‘s Beverly Hills real estate company, Hyland and Hilton.

Eventually, he left Hyland and Hilton to launch his own real estate company, The Agency, which has seen tremendous success in the last 12 years.

Now that Kyle and Mauricio’s marriage is on rocky ground, many Bravo fans wonder how the RHOBH couple’s future divorce could play out.

In 2017, Kyle appeared on Andy Cohen’s “Then and Now” show, where Bravoleb revealed that she and Mauricio do NOT have a prenup.

“My husband and I didn’t have two nickels to rub together when we got married, so a prenup was not an option or even talked about,” the RHOBH star explained.

“If I were to marry somebody who had less money than me, I would probably make them sign a prenup,” she shared at the time. “But if I were getting married to somebody with a lot of money, no, I wouldn’t sign one.”

After confirming their separation in September, Kyle dropped the D-word at BravoCon 2023 over the weekend.

“I’ve gone through a lot this last year that does change you. Losing my best friend to suicide changed me. Going through my divorce, all that has made me stronger, but it definitely changes you as a person. I feel good,” she told reporters, per TooFab.

“I’m grateful that we get along so well and love each other very much, and we’re putting our family first,” she continued. “We’re still living together under the same roof, and I’m proud of the way that we are navigating through this. I just take it a day at a time.”

The RHOBH star later clarified her red-carpet comments during an episode of BravoCon Live, which aired on Monday.

“I misspoke on the red carpet today. Two times I had to correct someone when they said ‘divorce,’ I said, ‘Separated,’ and then I went and said it, and then it went everywhere, so that’s my bad,'” Kyle said.

She added that she still considers their marriage “a success” and “a love story,” noting, “I love him very much.”

During another BravoCon panel, Kyle got emotional while opening up about her marriage.

“This is not my idea of my fairy tale, clearly,” the RHOBH star said on Sunday while wiping tears away from her face.

The Bravo star added that she “obviously” hopes she and Mauricio can “fix everything” and “pull it together.”

Despite Kyle and Mauricio’s separation, Us Weekly reports that the RHOBH couple “have NOT hired” divorce lawyers “yet.”

“Kyle and Mauricio have not hired attorneys, nor have either of them filed yet,” a source tells Us Weekly. “While they are separated, they want to keep their lives as normal as possible for the kids.”

“When and if they do decide to file, neither of them will be bitter or coming after the other,” the insider adds.

The source notes that there is “a lot of tension” between the former RHOBH couple, but “they don’t wish bad on the other” as they go their separate ways. “Neither of them wants a long and vengeful divorce.”

In July, rumors about Kyle and Mauricio’s marriage began to pop up on social media. The gossip was further fueled when PEOPLE reported that Kyle and Mauricio were separating after 27 years of marriage.

Kyle and Mauricio denied being separated in a joint statement on social media.

“In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding divorcing are untrue,” the joint statement read. “However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously.”

The statement continued, “There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately. While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”

In September, Kyle and Mauricio confirmed their separation.

“We are currently separated, we are not talking about divorce, and we’re trying to deal with this stuff internally with ourselves privately,” Mauricio told TMZ.

“Divorce is not part of our conversation right now. That is not part of what we’re dealing with. We’re dealing with a separation,” the RHOBH husband reiterated.

The RHOBH couple wed in 1996. They share daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Mauricio is also stepfather to Kyle’s daughter Farrah Aldjufrie, 34, from her first marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Well that's fine because they're also not getting a divorce. This is all for show.

Love how Alexia threw shade at Kyle on BravoCon. I guess Kyle thinks she's better than the other ladies because she's Daddy's BFF and she's been on the show so long. Interesting.

So many people who are separating before filing for divorce believe that when the divorce comes, it will be amicable and go smoothly. It seldom does, though, especially when there is a lot of money involved. If Kyle doesn't hate Mauricio now, as Jeff Lewis claims she does, and if Mauricio doesn't hate her now, that will surely change when they start dividing up all his money and she demands 50% of the $100 million he has earned.

I’m not a big Kyle or Mauricio fan but I’m glad there’s no pre-nup. I do feel bad about their marital problems, they’ve been together a long time and I thought they’d be together forever. Mauricio would have nothing had it not been for Kyle’s connection with Rick Hilton. So 50/50 split is good. I suspect if Mo cheated that it’s not the first time. That’s the only thing I can see Kyle getting this angry about. For some reason, this time she couldn’t look the other way. He seemed to have changed the last few seasons, was drinking and high a lot. And the hand holding with his DWTS co-star was a definite no-no. I hope they can patch things up for their family’s sake.

The amount of their fortune increases with each article I read.

Of course they didn't. Neither really had anything. He only became successful through Kathy Hiltons husband employing him, then going on his own. They should split 50/50. Hopefully he doesn't dilute their inheritance by having more babies with someone else.

Hopefully he does (for our entertainment).
