Vanderpump Rules Recap: Ariana Accuses Sandoval of ‘Psychological Warfare’

Pump Rules co-stars and exes Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval battle it out over control of their shared home.

On this week’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, Ariana Madix refuses to “cower” to ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval as she accuses him of “psychological warfare” in an effort to obtain “dominance” in their home.

Ariana Madix isn’t giving her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval an inch because she knows he will take a mile if she does.

On Tuesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, the 38-year-old said “it was f–king stupid” that she was still living with her ex-boyfriend after she learned in March that he was cheating on her with their co-star Raquel Leviss.

“He has done some weird things like opened my mail and put my plates on my car,” she explained of their living situation. “His most recent thing is that he got this white noise.”

“I got this white noise machine because when the scandal fever was at its peak, things I was saying were being overheard by Ariana and her friends,” Tom argued.

However, Ariana felt that Sandoval’s tactic is “some sort of psychological warfare.”

With Sandoval’s attempts to push her out of their mutually owned home, Ariana shut down his request to use their home to throw a birthday bash for himself despite the Schwartz & Sandy‘s co-owner offering to get her a hotel room for the night.

“That’s not happening,” Ariana told Sandoval’s assistant Ann, who was stuck being a mediator for the estranged exes. “I think that’s very disrespectful and inappropriate. If he wants to have a party, he can have it somewhere else.”

“If there are people here making noise, I will call the cops,” she added.

In her Vanderpump Rules confessional interview, Ariana admitted that the idea of Sandoval throwing a birthday party in her home sent her “spiraling” as she recalled his party history with throwing wild all-hours parties at their home.

“There would be loud music playing, mess, disgusting, everywhere, and it would be, like, three, four, five, sometimes six in the morning,” she explains. “But now that we’re not together, I’m not putting up with that s—.”

After Ariana shut down Sandoval’s initial party request he has Ann counter offer in which he would only have friends over until midnight to celebrate his birthday instead of throwing one of his regular all-night ragers.

“Obviously, Ariana is still very upset with me and though she thinks what I did makes me a criminal,” he said in a confessional. “But I doubt the police are gonna agree with that.”

While meeting up with Vanderpump Rules co-star Lala Kent for coffee, Ariana explained that she wasn’t willing to have Sandoval throw a party in their home.

Surprisingly Lala came to Sandoval’s defense, saying, “I also think that from just a logical standpoint, he’s allowed to have a party at his house.”

“That’s true,” Ariana responded. “but I’m also allowed to call the cops for a noise complaint.”

Ariana ultimately softened on the idea of Sandoval having a party at the house when Ann approached her with the idea of only having over 12 people who would all be gone by midnight.

“Ann did text me and said, ‘Now it’s a group of 12 people and they’ll be gone by midnight.’ I’m like, ‘That seems fine,'” she told Lala.

Lala then asked Ariana if it would be “easier” if she just moved out of the house to which Ariana replied, “Yeah, sure, when the house is sold. Because I’m not here for him trying to assert his dominance, be louder, be more obnoxious, make me uncomfortable and then I cower and let him do whatever.”

The Something About Her co-owner explained, “You can’t sell the house unless both people agree to sell the house. But Tom wants to buy me out and stay there, and I’m not just gonna pack up my clothes and hitchhike down the road because Tom offered me a measly sum of money.”

“The fact of the matter is he broke the home,” she added. “He f—ed all of this up. He doesn’t get to do that and then just, I don’t know, keep it.”

However, it turns out Sandoval’s party didn’t exactly go to plan despite Ariana letting him throw the party at their house.

James Kennedy attended the party and attempted to have a sit down with Sandoval over his affair with Raquel.

When James asked Sandoval if he was sorry for the “ultimate betrayal” Sandoval brought up James sleeping with his ex-girlfriend Kristen Doute.

“You’re not gonna talk about 10 years ago, I’ll stop you right there,” James said.  “You’ve got so much growing to do. It’s sad to me.”

Sandoval fired back, “So, you want me to take accountability but you won’t?”

The 32-year-old DJ stormed out of Sandoval’s house and peed in his bushes on the way out.

“Tom wants to go ahead and bring the past, I’m looking for an apology for the now,” James said in his Vanderpump Rules confessional. “Nothing makes it OK for him to be lying to face for six months, outcast me from the entire group, make me seem like I’m crazy all because he was just getting his d— wet.”

Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Didn't read article, because Arianna is the smartest person she knows, so I would think that she could handle some “psychological warfare”.

I like Ariana as a person but let’s be real . . . Sandoval is better TV and she’s been riding his coattails for many seasons now. Ariana is just dragging this out for a storyline because she doesn’t even live in the house anymore; she moved out in September after filming was done. LVP was about to fire her or demote her after season 10 if the show had been renewed before Scandoval came out. Boring AF Katie was struggling for a storyline during season 9 and asked Sandoval if she could pretend to be involved with Schwartz & Sandy’s just to get some screen time and she admitted it when Sandoval called her out at the season 9 reunion. James is also boring but really unlikable as well. Sandoval didn’t outcast him; James mistreated a lot of the cast members (fat shaming, slut shaming, dumb drunk antics, etc). At a reunion (maybe 5, 6, or 7), most of them said they don’t like him and don’t hang out with him outside of filming so how is that Sandoval’s fault? Ariana, stop being petty. Take 50% of whatever the house is worth and move on with your new man. Never thought I’d see the day where Lala made more sense than Ariana. *eye roll* *smdh*

They sure are using Tom for publicity. Ariana - get a life - move on - this is not something you yourself haven't done.

Ariana's victim role is tiring. If she were really the strong woman she claims she is, she would lick her wounds and move on. Not whine and rage over every perceived slight. Tom is clearly an as*. But she is not any better.

If she were to” lick her wounds…” she wouldn’t be on the show.

The "scorned woman" shtick is what got her on DWTS, the (tired) role in Chicago,, and undoubtedly a huge raise on the show, but I think she would be wise to start reeling it in. I mean we ain't talking Lucy and Ricky or Sonny and Cher here ... this ("bi") chick was some reality TV star's shack up honey.

Move on girl. You've got a new boyfriend. Focus on him. Agree on a price for the house. If Tom wants to buy it, so what. As long as you get your money who cares. Being petty now will only make you look bad.

I think Lala summed it up when she said ""I have never experienced someone who gets cheated on and suddenly she becomes God."
