RHONJ’s Melissa Gorga Admits Joe Gorga ‘Overreacted’ at Son’s Wrestling Match

RHONJ star Melissa Gorga calls out her husband, Joe Gorga, for overreacting at his son Gino’s wrestling match.

 On Thursday’s episode of the “On Display with Melissa Gorga” podcast, RHONJ couple Melissa and Joe Gorga discussed Joe recently being tossed out of his son Gino Gorga’s wrestling match after freaking out on the referee.

While Melissa at least admitted that Joe “overreacted” at the match, Joe took zero accountability for his behavior. In fact, the RHONJ couple put all the blame on Gino’s opponent playing dirty.

“OK, so you lost your cool,” the RHONJ star told her husband. “You overreacted.”

Joe explains that he had no idea the moment had been captured on camera or that it would be leaked to the press for public consumption. In fact, Joe laments that his whole life feels like a reality show at this point.

“I can’t even go to a wrestling match anymore. It’s a reality show. Everything’s a reality show,” the RHONJ husband said. “It’s ridiculous.”

The New Jersey businessman then sent a stern warning to others who may try to exploit his private life in the future.

“Leave me the hell alone,” he quipped. “Let me be with my son or something, my God!”

As AllAboutTRH previously reported, the RHONJ husband was ejected from his son Gina’s high school wrestling match for storming the mat during a meet.

Joe lost it when his son, Gino, lost his wrestling match. He quickly got up from his seat, charging at the referee.

That’s when parents and staff members jumped in. The referee demanded that Joe leave the gym while Gino stood there silently.

TMZ reports that Joe Gorga has justified his actions by saying that he felt the ref made some bad and unfair calls during the match and that Gino’s opponent was “mistreating” him.

Joe says he never had intentions of hurting anyone or getting physical. But that his son’s opponent was “conducting himself in an unsportsmanlike manner throughout the match, and the ref let it slide.”

The idiots are congregating on Reddit and in the comment section at Reality Blurb trying to normalize the man child’s behavior by bringing up every bad thing Teresa and her daughters have done. They’re so desperate that they’re bringing up stuff from seasons 1-5 when Teresa’s daughters were still kids. They’re trying to frame the outburst as a ‘blood Gorga’ trait, which doesn’t make any sense because Gino is a ‘blood Gorga’ and he handled it perfectly, showing how much more mature he is than his parents. There’s also ‘anonymous sources’ who were at the match putting out statements backing up the bullshit the FameWhorgas are trying to sell on this despite the fact that the footage from all the videos directly contradicts them.

To answer the question, there aren't many, if any here, since "Teresa haters" don't automatically become "Gorga loving"! I've noticed most "Teresa haters" are ambivalent regarding the fates of Joe and Melissa Gorga on the show.

Your son’s opponent is a 16/17 year old kid and you are 49 fucking years old! Are you a man child now? This is not the first high school sporting event that he’s been at so he knows parents record these events all the time! Who knows what else he does when he’s NOT on camera. This is the price of being famous on a REALITY TV show! Like, this shit IS your reality! It’s what you signed up for! You love the cameras until you get caught doing something dumb and then blame a minor for it? Again, you’re speaking about someone else’s child! That kid did not even stick his tongue out until after the man child charged at him so stop lying! The man child spent his first episode yelling at Teresa in front of her 9 year old daughter and banging on tables because he wanted the same attention that Teresa got from her table flip. He doesn’t give a shit about what he exposes kids to as long as he gets what he wants. Anyone who continues to defend this petulant 49 year old man child is just as of much a morally corrupt degenerate as he is.

Joe Gorga is an idiot. You are blaming a child. My son has played competitive basketball since 5th grade and is now a junior. We have had plenty of horrible refs, plenty of cocky obnoxious kids we played against but you still don't act that way. Guess what no ref or judge is going to change their call. Never have I ever seen that happen so why do all that? You don't go after someone elses child either. He acts like he hasn't been on the show all these years. He knows what he's in for. Not to mention you're at a sporting event where every parent is there filming their kids. No one sought out to get you dummy. You acted a fool and it was caught on tape, How about you just don't act that way and then this wouldn't have happened.
