Watch Carl Radke break up with Lindsay Hubbard in the dramatic Summer House season 8 trailer!

The much anticipated Summer House season 8 trailer has FINALLY arrived, and it doesn’t disappoint at all!

The Summer House season 8 trailer gives Bravo fans their first glimpse at Carle Radke and Lindsay Hubbard‘s much-discussed breakup, which took place just months before they were set to tie the knot in Mexico.

The teaser, released Thursday, opens up with a montage of the Summer House couple arguing about how Carl is “not happy” and that Lindsay “needs to have the power” in their relationship.

The camera then cuts to Lindsay and Carl in their New York City apartment, engaging in a heated conversation about their relationship.

“You’re really gifted at playing victim,” Carle tells Lindsay as the camera pans to her engagement ring and Bride paraphernalia all around their apartment.

Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s dramatic split plays out in the Summer House season 8 trailer.

Lindsay gets up and storms off to their bedroom, telling Carl there’s “no more point to this conversation” since he has “made the decision clear.”

“I thought she would react a little differently,” Carl tells the Summer House cameraman, breaking the fourth wall. “She’s gonna have to spin this and then tell everybody she’s blindsided.”

The 38-year-old former PR guru then calls her dad and tells him Carl “wants to call off the wedding and break up,” noting that she feels “very blindsided.”

As for Carl, he admits he’s “fine” with being labeled the “bad guy” and notes that Lindsay is “lying [about] the things that have gone on the last year.”

The trailer then flashes back to the start of summer 2023, which then teases some of the relationship drama Carl and Lindsay went through while filming season 8 of Summer House.

In one scene, Lindsay accuses Carl of “doing drugs” after she screams at him:  “‘What are you on? What are you on?’”

Summer House stars Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke look lovey-dovey during an appearance on WWHL.

Then, in another scene, Lindsay is crying at the kitchen table, telling one of her friends, “He’s a f–king terrorist,” but it’s unclear if she’s referring to Carl or someone else.

The teaser ends with Carl having a frank conversation with his mom and stepdad about his upcoming wedding to Lindsay. They both advise him not to marry her.

“I’ve been a minister all my career, and I’ve married tons of people,” Carl’s stepdad says. “I wouldn’t marry you and Lindsay.”

Season 8 of Summer House stars returning cast members Amanda BatulaKyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, Paige DeSorboCiara MillerDanielle Olivera, and Gabby Prescod. They will be joined by new friends Jesse Solomon and West Wilson.

Summer House season 8 premieres on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 9 pm ET/PT on Bravo.

What I find interesting is that Lindsey was calm and I get that as she's trying to process. I'm like that as I face a hard situations I find myself detaching trying to come to terms with what happened. Part is a defense mechanism and the other is my pragmatic side. Also how was Carl expecting her to react? And it seems as if Carl is having conversations about his relationship with Lindsey to other people that are NOT Lindsey. Its like last year when he would have one conversation with Lindsey and then have another conversation with Kyle and Danielle that don't line up and it would be about the same topic. To me this is a character trait of Carl's. We can't blame Lindsey for this as Carl did this with Loverboy, friendship with Danielle, the Wirkus twin, Stephen, Paige, and Julia. Carl says he doesn't mind being the bad guy yet his actions says the opposite. He tends to gaslight if we are being honest and he'll blame it on others. Paige, Julia, Stephen, Wirkus twin, Kyle, Mya, and Ciara. Dude has a pattern of behavior that we need to pay attention to.
