RHOC alums Alexis Bellino and Vicki Gunvalson go at each other on social media after Vicki slammed Alexis’ “gross” romance with John Janssen.
Former RHOC star Alexis Bellino clapped back at Vicki Gunvalson‘s recent criticism about her ongoing romance with Shannon Beador‘s ex-boyfriend John Janssen.
The OG of the OC shared a tweet promoting an article from Celebuzz with her comments on John and Alexis’ relationship.
The tweet read:
“I am NOT HOLDING MY TONGUE in my thoughts on Alexis DATING Shannon’s ex. I am DISGUSTED and TELLING ALL.”
On Thursday, Alexis shared a screenshot of Vicki’s tweet on her Instagram Story along with her own message to the RHOC OG.
The 46-year-old fired back: “Very disappointing to see this from someone I considered a friend.”
She added: “I know things can’t be so bad at Coto Insurance that you resort to grab quick cash from a clickbait article trashing me.”
Later on, Vicki took to Twitter to clap back at Alexis, writing:
“Coto Insurance – which has been in business for 34 years – is thriving. My feelings on a certain situation involving someone I think is being shady have NOTHING to do with that – oh, & at least I HAVE a business and don’t have to depend on a man #HappyHolidays #ImAGoodFriend.”
This comes just days after Vicki accused Alexis of dating John in an attempt to secure a spot on season 18 of RHOC.
“For me to see that Alexis — someone I actually had some respect for — would go so low as to date Shannon’s ex? It’s gross,” Vicki told Celebuzz. “It’s low, and it’s not being a girl’s girl.”
“It also reeks of desperation to return to the show as she probably is hoping this will stir the pot and secure her spot,” she continued. “It makes one question why John would want to date another Housewife. Is he also fame-hungry and wanting to remain on TV? We all know the answer!”
Vicki also admitted that seeing John and Alexis’ relationship play out in the media hasn’t been easy, especially for Shannon.
“Either way, it’s truly hard to see the public photos all over the internet,” she said. “If he has any ounce of class, he should quietly date her and stop with all the public humiliation. I will gladly be by Shannon’s side to defend her and support her through this in any way I can.”
The Coto Insurance founder wrapped up by slamming Alexis for purposely doing something she knew would truly hurt Shannon.
“I am a big supporter of being there for your girls, and what Alexis is doing is downright gross,” she said. “You know how bad this would hurt her, and you did it anyways. What happened to being religious and righteous? None of this speaks to that.”
“Sad to say I’m disappointed in both of them is an understatement,” Vicki Gunvalson concluded.
RHOC will return for season 18 in 2024.
