Monica Garcia fires back at her mom, Linda, following this week’s episode of RHOSLC. Plus, Linda makes Monica’s money problems public.

The drama between Monica Garcia and her mom, Linda, continues to play out on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and social media.

After this week’s episode of RHOSLC, Linda took straight to Twitter to throw some shade at her daughter’s finances. Talk about being messy.

Monica Garcia confronts her mom over kidnapping her car on this week’s episode of RHOSLC.

Linda claims that the REAL reason she kidnapped Monica Garcia’s Range Rover Sport is because the RHOSLC newbie hasn’t made an on-time payment on the vehicle in two years.

“Monica had not made an on-time payment in two years. Two years. Not one. The first on-time payment came this year in October 2023. I’m not playing this game anymore. I am being maligned in the worst possible way,” Linda tweeted.

An RHOSLC fan interjected with some interesting points:

“If Monica wanted a Range Rover, she should’ve been able to qualify and make those payments timely and on her own. It’s unfortunate because you’re being painted in a certain way, and Monica nor production are helping you. I think this car is going to continue to strain you both. “

The fan continued:

“At the same time, if you knew your daughter couldn’t make on-time payments, why co-sign for her? Why a Range Rover? Why not [repossess] and return? If she couldn’t make the payments then why not get her something more humble, a smaller payment? We want to understand.”

Linda replied, “When we were in the dealership, she promised to the high heavens she would. I wanted to help her. She can afford the payments. She chooses to pay late.”

“She also promised in the dealership that my name would be off in one year. It’s been 26 months, and my name is still on the loan,” she continued.

Meanwhile, Monica opened up on Instagram about “healing from childhood trauma” and dealing with “toxic” relationships in your life.

Alongside multiple slides about dealing with trauma, the RHOSLC star wrote:

“To anyone dealing with trauma or if you are in a toxic relationship, I see you. I feel you. You are not alone. Whether it’s a spouse, sibling, partner, friend, family member, or parent. Your feelings are valid. Do not feel bad for doing what is best for your mental and emotional health. Do not feel bad for having to cut ties or take time. Hard to take Monica seriously. Her behavior/interactions with her Mother. Screwing her brother in law. Throwing a temper tantrum in front of her kids at a party. I certainly hope this is her one and only season.

This is yucky, but the mother should be able to defend herself if this is true. Silly to have a Range Rover but then be able to pay her bills.

Monica is a grifter liar who makes money the Jen Shah-way with bogus nuisance lawsuits. She can try to swaddle that up in a cute TV package, but the reality is she stole the ring and doesn't deserve to be a real HWs. Fooled at the start, No fool No more. Her mom, Her ex-husband, Her cast ALL hate her. Bye.

If you have have a toxic relationship, don’t go back and have mom fund your car loans at 40. At that age you are not owed financial support by your parents, you just aren’t. You can’t have it both ways, want you mom on the show to be a sympathy storyline to say look over here so it will smooth over the other stuff as an adult to distract from, (history of grifting, shady lawsuit, two year long affair with a brother in law imploding two families, turning in Jen Shaw as her assistant and confidant), and hate that mom is on the show and gets any visibility which pisses Monica off, clearly.

The mom enables her but easy to understand with four grandchildren and her daughter having custody. With her bravo income for hopefully her only season and a generous alimony, the mother should be able to tell her to get her own vehicle and to see the granddaughters when she wants to, not when Monica needs a babysitter.

Sick of her and her mothers crap I hope she's a one and done. I think she a two faced sneak that would throw anyone under the bus if it benefitted her. Maybe we should hear more about her sleeping around than using her mother and children for her drama story line. The way she sleeps around the housewives should keep a close eye on their husbands.

Monica definitely should be one and done. I definitely think Monica would have an affair with someone’s husband, gosh she was with her family member so she has no loyalty. Also she is a lawsuit threat also to the ladies to have her in their homes or properties. The cast needs to get together and tell Bravo under no circumstance can she come back. Sorry, she blew it when she filed a lawsuit against Angie. This after already having one against Heather. Bravo had no business hiring a HW with an open lawsuit against a cast member, crossed the line. But Bravo put the whole cast at risk with Monica’s history of frivolous lawsuits and legal action and their very different economic situations at this time, maybe as a friend Monica can go to restaurant events but not to the cast homes.
