Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks denies spreading rumors about Angie’s Katsanevas husband, Shawn Trujillo.

On the October 3 episode of RHOSLC, Angie Katsanevas was informed of a rumor going around about her husband.

While at Lisa Barlow’s Apres Ski party, Whitney Rose and Monica Garcia told Angie Katsanevas that Meredith Marks was threatening to reveal a nasty rumor about her husband, Shawn Trujillo.

According to Monica, the rumor is that Angie’s husband has been stepping out on their marriage with men. Shawn’s so-called “boyfriends” have been talking about their alleged affairs all around Salt Lake City.

After the episode aired, Meredith Marks tweeted that she “did not say” the rumor about Angie’s husband.

The jewelry designer tweeted:

“I did not say that. I barely know the woman! I don’t care who her husband is sleeping with as long as it’s consensual.”

Angie, for her part, isn’t buying any of it.

“They have nothing else to talk about, and if I am making them relevant and basically bringing Meredith back from the dead last season? Hey, she’s engaging; good for her – love to see it. But there’s really, truly nothing about my marriage out in Salt Lake City. These girls are trying to be relevant, and I’m OK with that. I know the truth,” she told Us Weekly.

“My marriage is real. These rumors are not, and that’s the bottom line. “Unlike Meredith, I’m going to take the high road,” she continued. “I don’t want to talk about anyone’s marriage or relationship because I have a daughter, I have a family, and I’m going to let her go low, and I’m going to stay high.”

As for Angie’s husband, Shawn, he revealed on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that the gay rumors don’t bother him; it’s more about the claims that he was unfaithful to his wife.

“It was interesting,” he admitted. “For me, it’s not a gay-straight thing. It’s an infidelity thing for me. We love our gay community. We’ve been embedded in it for 30 years now just based on what we do for our business, but you know, it’s just… I’m here to support Angie, and I’ll take the hits.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 4 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Whitney did the right thing by exposing the rumor that was being spread about Angie's husband. And it is likely Monica that is spreading it. I don't like Monica. She's trash. And she shouldn't be on the show. She has no boundaries as witnessed by her sleeping with her BIL. Absolutely no values. I feel for her children.

I find Angie very inauthentic, I mean she can’t even prioritize her marriage and relationship to her husband. Is that very Greek of her? Is that traditional Greek type of relationship? I don’t think so. I’m not going to comment on her husband’s sexuality, but I will on having no taste and allowing their dog to be dyed hot pink! If there’s gay rumours about him, it’s most likely from having to walk that dog because Angie ain’t doing nothing but trying to be a Real Housewife! LOL The irony. Meredith seems to be caught in the act and she’s not rebounding, especially with her fashion choices. Whitney seems to have found her voice… and can now think as to how she can produce drama and storylines, which she better get smart about because the cameras catch everything and she’ll burn fast like Rinna and Tamera did.

Meredith didn’t say anything like this. Whitney is mental. Her husband is gross and I hope her skincare business doesn’t do well. Angie’s husband seems nice.

It wasn't Whitney who did this. It was Monica. Whitney brought it out into the open so Angie can defend herself.

The funny thing is Whitney almost always brings up something some one said and it is off camera, and expects everyone to believe her and take her word on it no questions asked. I am not the biggest fan of Meredith (she is funny this season ill give her that), but she never mentions this rumor specifically, she talked in general. Btw Angie is such a hypocrite accusing Monica of not having her back even though she introduced her to everyone , when she did the exact same thing to Jenn and worse. Bravo need to screen the HW more, the franchise is getting worse and worse by each season.

Whitney seems to have taken on Kyle's (RHBH) role as of at least last season of instigating conflict among others. This is the only HW show I've watched where they are ALL too annoying to enjoy watching. At one time or another I didn't mind watching some with Lisa being the last one even though she lost it last season or whenever it was. She is just too much, too. Can't stand either Angie or Monica right off the bat.
