RHOA alum Kim Zolciak declares that she’s not moving out of her Georgia home and insists she and Kroy Biermann are “working” on their marriage.
On Friday, Kim Zolciak took to Instagram to declare publicly that she is NOT moving out of her and Kroy Biermann’s $3 million Georgia mansion amid reports Kroy wants to offload the home amid their divorce and financial issues.
The RHOA alum also claims that she and Kroy are “working on [their] marriage” despite Kroy filing for divorce again in August.
This public declaration from Kim comes just days after a process server reported that the RHOA OG no longer lives at her Georgia home.
On September 8, TMZ reported, via court records, that a process server attempted to deliver paperwork to Kim concerning her $150,000 outstanding balance on her Saks credit card on Thursday but was told by an unidentified man that she no longer lives there and that he had “just purchased the property.”
However, Kroy’s attorney, Marlys A. Bergstrom, told TMZ that Kim had NOT moved out of the home, noting that she still had many belongings inside the residence.
Kim later took to Instagram to shut down the rumor mill.
“I’m living here, not going anywhere! Been working on our marriage and have been living as husband and wife. The lies daily are too much,” Kim wrote alongside a clip of her massive closet filled with designer shoes.
Recently, Kim has been spotted wearing her wedding ring and telling paparazzi that she and Kroy were “probably” not getting divorced.
Despite Kim’s hopefulness, Kroy’s attorney insists that the former NFL star is still progressing with the divorce.
“No, at this time, he is still moving forward with the divorce action,” Kroy’s attorney said in a statement last month.
Kroy and Kim first split in May but reconciled in June before splitting again in August. Kroy re-filed for divorce in August and has requested that their marital home be sold to collect whatever equity they can to pay off their mourning debt.
Per Kroy’s attorney, the family is in a “deep [financial] hole” at the moment. They’re also on the verge of losing their house for good as Kroy struggles to make the monthly mortgage payments. Despite Kroy selling personal items to make mortgage payments, the home is still on the verge of foreclosure yet again.
Unless Kim and Kroy act swiftly, they will be out on the streets. The estranged couple’s debt continues to grow. Not only do Kim and Kroy owe over a million in back taxes, but they also have various other lawsuits over unpaid credit cards and gambling debts.
The former RHOA couple resides in the home with their four minor children: Kroy Jr. “KJ,” 12, Kash, 11; and twins Kaia and Kane, 9 as well as Kim’s adult children, Brielle Biermann, 26, and Ariana Biermann, 21.
