Lisa Hochstein calls out her estranged husband, Lenny Hochstein, for “staging” his engagement to his mistress in order to get attention in the press.
The Real Housewives of Miami star isn’t holding back when it comes to her estranged husband‘s recent engagement to model Katharina Mazepa.
During a recent interview, Lenny Hochstein claimed that he was “nervous” about proposing to his mistress of a year in Ibiza.
“My plan was to go to a cliff in Ibiza to watch the sunset. I enlisted a close friend to film the event,” the Miami-based plastic surgeon told Us Weekly on Tuesday, August 1. “I was not nervous about the proposal, but I am afraid of heights, so the whole ‘being on the edge of a cliff’ [thing] gave me far more anxiety than the proposal.”
Page Six picked up the story and posted it on their social media page, which is when Lisa Hochstein caught wind of the story.
The Bravoleb commented on the story, accusing Lenny of “staging” his engagement to Katharina in Ibiza. Lisa also alleged that Lenny and Katharina “were already” engaged before Lenny got down on one knee for the Instagram-worthy engagement.
“How did he have anxiety when they were already engaged prior to this staged engagement? Allegedly,” Lisa commented.
As AllAboutTRH previously reported, Lenny Hochstein and his mistress Katharina Mazepa announced their engagement over the weekend on Instagram.
Lenny and his bride-to-be wrote, “On top of an ancient pirate cave, overlooking the sunset over breathtaking Es Vedrá, he asked to steal me away forever.”‘
When Lisa Hochstein learned the news of Lenny’s engagement, she sarcastically congratulated her husband on Instagram.
She took to Instagram stories and wrote, “Congrats to my current husband and his mistress on their engagement.” She also shared AllAboutTRH’s Instagram post of her mother-in-law trashing her, commenting, “What a wonderful mother-in-law and grandmother. How disgusting.”
Following the engagement announcement, Lenny’s mother publicly commented on the news while also throwing shade at her grandchildren’s mother, Lisa Hochstein, despite this not being about Lisa Hochstein.
Mariana Hochstein commented, “I will be very happy that this time you are getting a woman who loves and respects you. You certainly did not have that in your previous marriage. Good luck, congratulations.”
The divorce between Lisa and Lenny has yet to be finalized despite him getting engaged.
RHOM is set to return to Bravo for season 6 in late 2023 or early 2024.
