Margaret Josephs doesn’t have high hopes for her rollercoaster relationship with Teresa Giudice as they head into filming for season 14 of RHONJ.
The 56-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star attended Jill Zarin‘s Luxury Luncheon in Southampton over the weekend. At the event, Margaret chatted with Extra about season 14 of RHONJ and where she stands with co-star Teresa Giudice following the season 13 reunion.
“I think the reunion said it all,” Margaret Josephs said when asked about the current status of her relationship with Teresa.
If you recall, Margaret went head-to-head with both Louie and Teresa at the RHONJ season 13 reunion.
Teresa called Margaret “a devil” and said she was a “f***ing criminal.”
Margaret fired back: “You are gaslit every single day. He belittled you. He makes you look like an a**hole.” She added that she never wanted to see Louie’s “f***ing sham of a face again.”
Margaret also shut down reports that she was afraid to film season 14 of RHONJ with Teresa’s husband, Louie Ruelas.
“I never said I was afraid to film with him. I’m not afraid to film with anybody. I think my position on the show has shown that I don’t live in fear. I just have standards,” Margaret quipped.
Last month, The U.S. Sun reported that Margaret was afraid to film with Teresa‘s husband, Louie Ruelas, following the RHONJ season 13 reunion.
“Margaret has made it clear that she does not feel safe filming around Louie,” a source close to production revealed at the time.“She said that she was going to get her lawyers involved and had threatened not to film with Louie. The cast is still very much divided, and there is still a lot of leftover tension from the reunion.”
When it comes to the drama between Teresa Giudice and Melissa and Joe Gorga, Margaret admits that she doesn’t believe they will be making peace anytime soon.
“You know what? I always hold that hope for families reuniting, but I don’t think there’s any hope,” she said.
However, Margaret is hopeful and excited for season 14 of RHONJ, which reportedly begins filming the first week of August.
“I think I go into every season the same: just be authentically myself,” Margaret said. “These women are my friends — most of them, I would say, are my friends. I really do love them. And you know, hopefully, most of us could get past things and just move it forward. That’s what it’s about. It’s about a group of friends, opinionated women, and having a good time.”
All of the ladies from RHONJ has been asked back for season 14. Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, Rachel Fuda, and Danielle Cabral have all been offered contracts and are expected to return for season 14 of the RHONJ. Jennifer Fessler and Jackie Goldschneider are also expected to return as friends of the Housewives.
