According to Andy Cohen, anything is possible in the Bravoverse, including a Real Housewives of New Jersey cast without Melissa Gorga and/or Teresa Giudice.
Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice‘s feud has been going on for ten-plus years at this point. The Bravoverse is growing tired of their family antics which has everyone wondering what the future holds for both RHONJ stars moving forward.
The Big Daddy of Bravo, Andy Cohen, reveals that it is possible that either Teresa or Melissa won’t return for season 14 of RHONJ due to their ongoing – and stale- family drama.
“I can imagine anything,” Andy told Us Weekly.
The Watch What Happens Live host added that it’s “hard” to imagine RHONJ without either Melissa and Teresa as they have been cornerstones of the franchise for a decade now. Teresa has starred on RHONJ since its inception in 2009, while Melissa joined the cast during season 3 in 2011.
During the season 13 reunion, Teresa told Melissa she couldn’t “wait to never see your f—king face again after today.”
The RHONJ OG added, “You’re leaving.”
Since then, Melissa has denied having any plans to exit RHONJ.
“I have no intentions on leaving [RHONJ],” the 44-year-old said during a May episode of her On Display podcast.
Meanwhile, Andy says that the “level of hatred” between Melissa and Teresa at the season 13 reunion was “at a 10.” He added that seeing the sisters-in-law fight was “one of” the saddest things to watch.
Despite Andy Cohen being able to see RHONJ move forward without either Melissa or Teresa, both RHONJ stars have made it clear that want to continue being a part of the cast as it heads into its fourteenth season.
RHONJ is currently on “pause” for the summer as Bravo and production figure out how to move forward with the current cast amid Teresa and Melissa’s ongoing feud.
Contracts for season 14 of RHONJ have not been sent out yet. No one in the RHONJ cast has been fired or asked back for next season – yet.
The current plan is that filming for season 14 will begin at the “end of August.”
RHONJ currently stars Danielle Cabral, Jennifer Aydin, Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice, Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, and Rachel Fuda. Jennifer Fessler and Jackie Goldschnieder also star on the show as friends of the Housewives.
