RHONJ’s Joe Gorga better buckle up because his former contractor is getting out the big guns to battle him out in court over a $110k lawsuit!

Things just keep getting worse and worse for Joe Gorga. The U.S. Sun reports that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s contractor has hired a high-powered attorney to go after Joe in their $100k lawsuit.

Plaintiff County Concrete Corporation has retained Peter A. Comitale, Esq., of Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman, P.C., to represent the company in their lawsuit against Joe Gorga.

The New York City-based law firm’s website explains that they are experts in “construction-focused” legal issues.

“Over the past 30 years, Cohen Seglias has grown from a three-attorney construction-focused law firm to a firm with over 70 attorneys across eight offices offering a wide range of legal services. Our clients operate in the United States and internationally and in a variety of industries. We are committed to building success in all aspects of our practice- success for our clients, our people, and our communities.”

Joe Gorga, on the other hand, is being represented by New Jersey-based firm Bio & La Racca Law Office.

Back in February, The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband was slapped with a $110k lawsuit over the construction of his and his wife, Melissa Gogra‘s new Franklin Lakes home.

Joe and Melissa moved into their new home late last year after buying it for $950k in early 2021 and spending nearly a year and a half rebuilding the mansion from the ground up.

Joe was initally sued for $30k in November 2022 by County Concrete Corporation, who accused him of not paying construction costs on his new home. All About the Tea was the first to report on this lawsuit.

County Concrete Corporation later amended its lawsuit against Joe and is now suing him for $110,972.58.

In the amended complaint, County Concrete Corporation claims they provided building materials to Joe from September 2021 to January 2022, totaling $110,972. 58.

“The Plaintiff has attempted on multiple occasions to contact the defendants,” court papers read. “The defendants have failed to pay the monies owed to the plaintiff for the materials that were previously provided. The defendants have failed to fulfill their obligations with the plaintiff. The defendants failure to do so constitutes a breach of contract.”

County Concrete Corporation is requesting a trial by jury.

Production for season 14 of Real Housewives of New Jersey will start in late August.
