The hits keep coming for Joe Gorga!
The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband has been slapped with a $110k lawsuit over the construction of his and his wife, Melissa Gogra‘s new Franklin Lakes home.
Joe and Melissa moved into their new home late last year after buying it for $950k in early 2021 and spending nearly a year and a half rebuilding the mansion from the ground up.
As we previously reported, Joe was initally sued for $30k in November 2022 by a contractor who accused him of not paying construction costs on his new home. All About the Tea was the first to report on this lawsuit.
The U.S. Sun reports that County Concrete Corporation has amended its lawsuit against Joe and is now suing him for $110,972.58.
In the amended complaint, County Concrete Corporation claims they provided building materials to Joe from September 2021 to January 2022, totaling $110,972. 58.
“The Plaintiff has attempted on multiple occasions to contact the defendants,” court papers read. “The defendants have failed to pay the monies owed to the plaintiff for the materials that were previously provided. The defendants have failed to fulfill their obligations with the plaintiff. The defendants failure to do so constitutes a breach of contract.”
County Concrete Corporation is requesting a trial by jury.
If this weren’t enough drama for the Gorgas, they are also rumored to be on the chopping block for season 14 of RHONJ.
Melissa and Joe’s season 13 drama with Teresa Giudice could mean the end of their time on the show.
A source recently told The U.S. Sun: “This could be Melissa’s last season. When Teresa’s done with you, you’re done with the show. It’s happened in the past to former cast members, and it can happen to Melissa.”
“If it came down to the point where Teresa threatens to not return because of Melissa, then Melissa would be the one who would get fired,” the source added.
“There’s no communication between them whatsoever. They can’t stand the thought of being in the same room together,” the source explains of the Giudices and Gorgas, noting that the next time they’ll face off “will be at the reunion.”
