On Wednesday, Radar Online published bodycam footage of Kroy Biermann telling a police officer how much his wife, Kim Zolciak, has spent online gambling over the years.
This video took place long before the reality TV couple’s recent reconciliation earlier this month. The footage is from before both Don’t Be Tardy alums filed for divorce in May. As Bravo fans know, things got ugly between Kim and Kroy in the weeks leading up to and preceding their mutual divorce filings.
In the clip, Kroy Biermann told police that Kim lost $700k gambling in the last two years alone.
“The total in the marriage was about $1.5 million dollars. She does it online illegally,” the 37-year-old former NFL star claimed.
“It’s probably been going on for pretty much our entire marriage, and it’s gotten significantly worse,” he continued.
Kroy didn’t stop there. He then accused Kim of “decimat[ing]” their savings. Kroy went on to call the Real Housewives of Atlanta OG a “narcissist to the extreme level,” adding that Kim is a “compulsive behavior addict.”
As the video continued on, Kroy revealed that he and Kim were still sharing their marital bed but did not “engage” with each other as they moved into divorce proceedings.
Kroy filed for divorce from Kim on May 8. The RHOA alum then followed suit with her own filing. However, in July, Kim filed paperwork to dismiss her divorce from Kroy.
When it comes to Kroy’s claims about Kim’s gambling, Bravo fans aren’t that shocked to learn that she’s lost millions playing games of chance.
Kim has never hidden her penchant for gambling. In fact, the longtime Bravoleb has often bragged about the large amounts of money she has lost gambling.
In 2014, the former Don’t Be Tardy star boasted on screen about losing $250k gambling in the Bahamas and spending thousands of dollars at a time on lottery scratch-offs.
In a confessional interview, Kim said:
“I love to gamble, but there’s no casino here in Georgia, so the only way to get my thrill is to buy scratch-offs. I play big to win big.”
“I took a really big hit in the Bahamas last time I went … like [a] quarter of a million dollars. A lot of money. Yeah, crazy, and I never went back.”
Then in 2019, Kim also allegedly gambled away $30k during a trip to Las Vegas.
